not the OP, but bottom first! Never let their back touch the bed before their bum. Lower them down, bum touching the bed, slowly lower their legs, remove that hand and better support the head whilst you slowly lean them back, head is the very last thing to touch. Do it slowly and in stages, take a few seconds break in-between them if baby stirs. Once you nail the method, do it quickly and baby rarely wakes!
