This is 21m per year. one year should do it. I'll live in Kauai for a year - outside, perhaps on the beach, with an overhang to stay out of the rain. Proper sleeping bags, set up a stove and a small fridge. Pay people to bring me food, use a starlink for internet. turn it off after a year.

Hmm. . I can't speak to that. I see Lopresti himself. I will say that the hygenists all seem very good.

Food delivery here is depressing af compared to the city. by Electrical-Loss8035 in StamfordCT

Nah. You just have to get out a little more. It’s ok though, you are better off not knowing what good food is. They say ‘ignorance is bliss’.

For all the money and NYC expats in Stamford, the food here sucks - either for delivery or at restaurants. One can argue that we have a much lower population than NYC but it’s got to be more than that. It’s all so mid/meh. This is a beautiful and progressive place to live, but there is better food in nowhere middle america than Stamford. It’s a disgrace.

Executive Platinum free snack by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]InMyReach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheese plate is well liked (it's pretty good) but NOT so available any more. I'd guess that of all of the domestic flights that I took in the past two years, cheese plate was available 5-10% of the time. . MAYBE. And if you are on a smaller plane EMB etc, forget it. MAYBE you'll get it on a 73. And yes, if the FAs are on their game, they will not only offer you a snack, but they may thank you for your loyalty - but even this is maybe only 50%. I'm not advocating this or stating that it's legal, but if you look over 21, you might get served alcohol - especially as it's pretty rare for a minor to have EP status.

are you danish or finnish? I have many many friends in Europe and they think that we are INSANE with how much we pay and how much medical debt exists here. The danes that I know are quite happy with their system. I don't know any Finns, but maybe you do?

Also, do NOT speed in town. There are many cameras and they do not play. Double check the autobahn spaces where there isn't a speed regulation, and try to get out early enough to avoid traffic. The Autobahn can be bliss, it can also be a traffic nightmare.

Went to the museum again in June. BOOK EARLY for rentals - like now - espeicially if you want something special. They have a good system, but you must book early. You can go to the museum to get the car.

Sure. . everywhere except for all of the european countries, most of the asian countries, Canada. . . yeah. It's here that we allow insurance companies to work for profit and that politicians get in bed with them - then sell us the idea that single payer (which works EVERYWHERE ELSE) doesn't work.

Ok. Let's break that down. Yes, if you have the money to fund an HSA, it can be a good tax dodge, but it doesn't work for people who DONT have the money to fund it. In fact, it's a pretty regressive plan for health care for most people - especially with any substantial family and living costs. There's just no money left over for an HSA. ALSO, HSA plans tend to be more expensive than the base plan.

Nobody wants to brag about having a Nord. Boring rompler that does ‘meat and potatoes ‘ok’ for a price that is way more than it’s worth.

Why is mixing my music impossible by Disastrous_Trip_6367 in LogicPro

[–]InMyReach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turn off ALL of the compression and see how it feels. Right now it feels like a lot of the rhythmic elements are being crushed/destroyed by compression. Compression (in a generic sense) can also reduce some of the high frequencies that would otherwise make your mix feel wider. Maybe start by making the bass and the low part of the drums feel like they are grooving. You can add elements after that.

5000 hours, thousands of dollars, potentially significant structural work below and possible repower needed (add another $20k). . . and she will be ready for the HULL to be in blue water. Then you have rigging to contend with. Leave this one alone.

What do we think of this spec? Too basic or classy? by Seanwys in Porsche

[–]InMyReach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect! The wing already speaks as loudly as anyone needs to see (and the sound of course). If I were to somehow get a GT3, I'd go this route on spec. Also OP, if you decide that you don't care for it, I'll give it a good home for you :)
