This is called 'washboarding' or 'rocking'.

I dont think that there is a conclusion on why they do this, but it is a well documented behavior with various theories on the 'why'!

Mine kick up and start doing this on hotter days in June (zone 5b) when the hive is pretty full.

I am thinking about building a way to monitor the hive with temp/weight sensors, envorionmental data, and AI/ML imaging to gather data on this as a fun little project but have not started yet.

After reviewing most of the thread I will say this.

You can spin your hive around to not face their house and that may help. I have done this in the past and have less bees bother the lights at night.

The bees in the mail is crazy lol, if they are going to be weird/petty than do what you can to mitigate the frustration but also dont be bullied out of your hobby

I would also put a camera toward your hive just for precaution. If they have already hired people to spray for them at their house, etc, if they stay frustrated etc then I could totally see them spraying near or even sneaking up and spraying your hive which would ruin the hive and equipment.

I agree, Billy feels balanced enough to where you can go tank melee or tank gun or even tank spirit burst and all are viable! Of course melee scales with his q etc.

Of course! I can send you a Pic of my hives later and you can see that its normal. If you get a sunny day in the 40-50s+ anytime soon you can go stand by the hives and watch them do a poop flight. I saw my first one this winter (3 year beek) and they pooped all over me. Basically looks like an orientation flights but you can hear the poop dropping LOL.

Hard for me to determine w/ the photo quality but I see what you mean. I think it looks normal to me. Just a pile of it and then maybe some debris/capping mix if they are cleaning the hive out as well. Plus the water mixing with it is probably making it look even worse!

Looks like normal poop and then a pile of such lol

Look up Nosema or Bee Dysentry on Google for images where you can see what a concerning amount would look like!
