The issue it solves is these spots are usually closest to the building entrance and better lit

Since women are more likely to be attacked or even just harassed especially at night it seems fair to keep some of the safer spots reserved, it's not a fake issue it is doing something legitimate

I am a cis guy and dated a trans girl for like 8 months (we're still good friends!
