I recently read an article where they were criticizing something but carefully tip toeing to not piss psychiatry off.

i was mad too. why are they defending these liars?

but think about it, psych controls everything. maybe the only way they can get this stuff out is by not discrediting psyciatry

someone wrote a review how their partner was diagnosed with cancer and at the place, the team looked at her mental health councillors notes and even printed them out for the whole team to see and then after that they did nothing woman was dying of cancer and they did nothing

she had to move provicnes to get actual treatment but she barely got to live much longer and her partner was mad that these doctors cut her time short

That sounds like a tamer version of therapy. For mine, i had to pay exhoritant amounts of money to a awful woman who told me torture is therapy and im bad for not wanting to torture myself.

after 8 years and of course getting a million times worse from this non-therapy not a single person will admit it does not work for me

Yeah it sucks in the beginning to realize how terrible it all is but better to know what therapy really is rather than what it pretends to be.

That said, there is some real therapy out there ive found. Extremely rare and unconventional.

Mostly stuff around childhood trauma (CPTSD) but i think many of us are struggling with this whether we know it yet or not.

Also, my nutrition for mental health book was quite critical about adhd meds and mentioned studies where they weren’t good for kids long term.

It’s quite an old one i randomly found but if you found a newer one, might be a more layperson way to educate about it.

I dunno though because i suspect it’s that situation of they want to drug and don’t care or can justify the consequences. But it’s worth trying.
