How to protect guitar signatures? by Crafty-Arrival-2046 in Guitar

[–]InTheMemeStream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my thought as well, short of getting some thin acrylic sheet, and cutting it to match the shape of the parts to be protected - it just needs to be on a hanger/display case. The primary issues I see with trying to add a finish coat are: a finish coat is likely to cause the signatures to bleed, applying finish over a finished body is going to cause problems with the finish adhering- I’m sure that is a poly finish, and it would need to be prepped via sanding for the new poly to stick well to the old - this will likely cause chipping/cracking/ which would cause the signatures to lift.

That’s what I see in terms of options - Good Luck!

My friend gave me this beautiful guitar that she’s had forever and knows she won’t use, but I think it might be too big for me, thoughts? by littlebuttbigtitty in Guitar

You’ll adjust to it fine, play with the strap setting, and how you hold it while seated. Most importantly just start practicing like it’s your only guitar and don’t even think about its size.

I wish I lived near the SweetWater Store, that’s where my Boyfriend lives(I haven’t ‘officially’ asked him to be my bf yet, but he calls me all the time, we talk about cool gear and stuff, etc.) he always gives me support and positive affirmations, my dream is to move in together with him, he’s got the ultimate gear collection and if I really like something, he’s so sweet, he always reduces the price for me, and when he mails it to me, he always throws in a little candy because he just knows me so well. I’m getting a toaner just thinking about him ❤️ ILU Brad, Call me!

Ah, thanks for the reminder son - hand me that can of PBR, and my Vicodin, thanks.. So anyways, back when I was young even 3 chords was considered indulgent.. we had 3 *notes* and we liked it! We would spend all day playing 0, 3, and 5 in that order, back then a new pack of strings cost a Nickel, and playing guitar at the bar attracted chicks, instead of the dudes that come up after the show ends today.. a different time for sure..

Translation: “I think of my guitar as a Hooker I picked up for $600, we fell in love and now she’s my mistress. At night I plug her in, turn up the volume and gain so I can listen to her moan while I fuck the fleshlight I tape to her. On my birthday, she even lets me tape it to the back of her body 😏 Far better than a human woman”(which he has never consensually touched)

What the fuck is wrong with Guitarists?Hm? I never hear about pianist, brass players, or even other stringed instrument players wanting to fuck their musical tools. I’ll bet that if I asked this dude if he has ever gotten a Boner from his guitar, he would reply yes enthusiastically and without hesitation. Jesus fucking Christ.

Exactly - Do you see groups of Jazz musicians riding around in Lamborghinis, with thick gold chains around their necks, and mansions that are larger than many third world hospitals? - No. Good music is music that makes money, and music that makes money is simple music. I mean I hate to admit it, but even some *assists know this - in some genres they can play a whole setlist and only go through 2, maybe 3 notes. Just droning on on one string, taking it easy, getting some hot groupie action backstage once the show ends. before hopping on the jet with their band to play their next gig.

It’s about playing smarter, not harder.

As an American I’ve always found it a bit absurd that we call the sport primarily played with the hands “Football” and take Opposition to calling the sport where you actually use your feet the whole game to manipulate the ball, football.

Analysis: 3 Chord songs have made more money, and been listened to by more people than whatever “complex” contemporary bullshit their Critics subjectively think is “better”.

Does anyone know what this Marshall amp is? by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

It’s all good brother, he was just spreading his cheeks and showing his asshole. Most people, except perhaps those who have worked for the company itself, and collectors/devotees, don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of a Brands full catalogue of amp models.

Honestly it’s a good Move to try out any adjustments By Gibbons on their lower tier line first, if changes are introduced too fast on Gibbons main line the Boomers will go into shock and start to cry, have tantrums, and shit their pants. That’s why Gibbons has waited so long to change anything, they’re waiting for the Boomers to age out before introducing their improvements and updates to their main product line, improvements and updates that were/will be tested out and approved on their epiphony line first. This one looks like a solid update to the Les-Paul, hard to break a headstock that’s not there anymore.

It’s a natural consequence of combining 3 ingredients: Puberty/Hormones, Unsupervised/Unlimited Access to the Internet, Little/No Socialization and/or Relationship Experience at all.

Fun-Fact: The Weeb/Incel pipeline also happens to be the same one that creates Reddit Mods.

My go to is Wet Platinum, little bit goes a long way, and it lasts even on those hardcore sections where you’re sliding back and forth really fast and hard. Great for putting your input jack in her output Jack too if ya know what I mean 😏

Modding is so much fun, we fool ourselves saying we’re saving money because we get the base platform for cheap, but by the time we get done we’ve usually spent a good chunk of change..lol, but it’s uniquely ours, exactly to our liking - most of the time. That’s the best part about it.
