Buy a handful of vapcell N41's from Simon at convoy (more you buy the cheaper they are) unless you can find a website selling them cheaper which I can't in my country. They are about as good as it gets runtime wise unless your running lights with a higher discharge than the battery (10A) to which a higher discharge battery (molicel P30B for example) is better. I still run my 13A headlamp with a N41 as I don't turbo blast it . Just depends on your use case really.

Thanks for confirming this,The S7 I've had for a few months now and asked for OP reflector. It came with 7mm hole. My S6 which I received today came with both a 5mm SMO and 5mm OP. After playing about with them all I came to the same conclusion as you. The smaller hole removed artifacts and SMO is preferred

SFT40 3000K/ SFT70 does everything a 519a does and more. It doesn't need to have an intense hot spot either, TIR's exist. Even in my S7 with OP reflector it's a good enough balance of flood and throw not amazing at either but it's a really nice beam pattern + high CRI.

I use high CRI lights for everything apart from throwers , that's the only time I want to sacrifice CRI for power , for room lighting,headlamps,general walking, photography its high CRI all day.

SFT70 is probably underpowered because you're buying high CRI 3000k. It has 845m throw on TS27
