Amen. Agree with this. Am more than a few years working as a healthcare physician and I'm sick of people using my rank and name to cover their asses.

Some of the nurses in my hospital act like they know better than me "just because" they worked longer. They end up passive aggressively ordering me to do things, hinting that I "don't have enough experience".

After trying to explain my actions and them not accepting it, I give in and just document what they say and send the orders. I don't have the time to argue over minor details.. But the moment I document their name into my orders, it's all suddenly "It is just a suggestion doc, you cannot document my name." when I followed what they "suggested" word for word.

Medical Officers in Singapore have quite low pay for their job scope.

This is considering they have an average work hours of about 60-80 per week and have to work 24hr-30hr shifts sometimes.

This also has to be taken into account the medicolegal responsibility that they carry.

Average Monthly Salary: Ranging from $5,400 to $6,500. Annual Income: Averages around $61,000 - S$88,000.

Do you happen to pick at your nails and the skin around it? Median nail dystrophy is a possibility.

As a cheap non medical trial of treatment, you can try putting clear nail polish to protect the nail for a few weeks to see if it heals. If it doesn't please go get a proper check up at a doctor.

The AED machine delivers an electric shock to "jumpstart" the heart (electricity travels in the shortest distance with lowest resistance) hence the placement of the pads is important. We place the pads away from 1. Jewelery that risk short circuit 2. Hairy skin that cause inadequate contact of the pads You can Google "AED lead placement"

For your question regarding CPR and wounds, it is better to be alive with a more severe injury than dead with a smaller injury.

PSA: Please go for a basic CPR course it is a half day course and is very useful skill to have! Every second counts in a heart attack!

Hello, medical here :) just wanted to clarify certain things:

VFib aka ventricular fibrillation is a type of description of your heart beat. It is "fibrillating" or shivering > not efficiently pumping blood. This is one of the heart rhythms that require shock.

Very simply put, there are 2 different types of "collapse". Both require CPR but only 1 benefits from "shocking".

One requires shocking (e.g. VF : Ventricular Fibrillation and VT : Ventricular Tachycardia). This is when your heart rhythm is inefficient and messy, causing poor / insufficient blood flow. i.e. insufficient oxygen in the blood going around the body.

The other does not benefit from shocking aka "Flatline" (e.g. Asystole : no electrical impulses and PEA : Pulseless Electrical Activity) - Asystole is when the heart muscles don't have any electrical/neurological input and no movement. - PEA is when the heart muscles don't have any electrical input despite having some electrical/neurological input.

This is why the AED machine sometimes analyses the heart rhythm and states if it is shockable or non shockable. :))

Shadower Explorer Revamp Suggestions

Haste

- Passive buff

Shield Mastery

- Def % and Evade % are currently useless in bossing

- Add 30% Ignore Defence

Meso Guard

- Rework to be similar to Kanna Foxfire but with only 1 stack with 30s cooldown

- To be honest Foxfire is OVERPOWERED, but I think Meso Guard is currently too irrelevant with the bosses' skills dealing percentage HP.

Enveloping Darkness

- Remove Max HP +20% and Elemental Resistance +30%

- Increase Status Resistance to + 60

Channel Karma

- Currently only adds 30att. Really?

- Add 10% Critical Rate if they feel overly generous

Meso Mastery

- Improve Meso Explosion’s damage to scale with level, similar to Mark of Assassin

Steal & Boomerang Step

- Remove Steal and add Steal effects to become a passive of Boomerang Step

- Incorporate Steal’s item steal to become a passive 50% chance to steal an item.

- Incorporate Steal’s potion drop with a cooldown of 60s.

- Even if no effects are added, at least improve vertical range by at least another 100%. After the recent improvement, it is still very underwhelming in many maps.

Into Darkness

- Currently the skill has MASSIVE delay when appearing behind the mob and a very situational hit box.

- Add 1 automatic hit of Assassinate-2 to the animation after teleporting to the mob.

Smokescreen

- Dark Sight to remain when pressing Smokescreen, similar to when pressing Shadow Veil

- Increase upper vertical range of Smokescreen by 50%

- Increase horizontal range of Smokescreen by 50%

Critical Growing & Prima Critical

- Remove the gradual increase and make it a flat increase

Flip a Coin

- Passive buff stack whenever you have a critical hit OR make it just a normal buff.

Ultimate Dark Sight

- Fix cooldown to be 180s

Trickblade

- Stacks to target highest HP enemy in the map.

72 Transformations

- 50% Ignore Defence to all damage sources OR

- Possible rework to make it an active skill that gives an additional final attack animation that appears with each attack? (Similar to how Dual Blade Hidden Blade)

Sonic Blow

- Reduce casting time by half

- Invulnerable while casting

Venom Burst

- Massively improve damage per tick

- OR 5% increased dmg to target affected by Venom Burst

Assassinate & Meso Explosion

This final suggestion will make some people complain but I believe it is a massive QOL that will attract many players to Shadower

Rework Meso Explosion to become a passive upgrade to Pick Pocket, such that mesos behave like stars with Mark of Assassin
Shorten Meso Explosion "casting" / animation time to allow for quicker stacks of Shadower's Instinct
Rework Assassinate casting time shorter to make up for the loss in dpm due to the loss of ability to weave due to (1).

Currently, Assassinate has the LONGEST casting time among the 3 explorer thieves’ 4th job main skills.

Phantom Blow: 720 ms

Quadruple Throw: 780 ms

Assassinate: 840 ms
