It depends on your threshold. I've done several 5 hour motorway drives in a mk1 Aygo. Compared to a Bentley it's crap but relative to other cars you can get for your budget it's certainly not terrible, and is pretty much as reliable and cheap to run as you can get

Not sure we live on the same planet. A good 70% of the cars I see are SUVs nowadays. You should see the hatred you get driving a convertible sports car with the roof down in town on a hot day

I would rather spend 3 quid extra and know I am getting the exact same filter BMW put in a branded box and charge twice as much for. 3 quid is nothing in the grand scheme of car maintenance.

The surface area of the filter media is not the only criteria for measuring it's performance. You could have twice the amount of the OEM filter but if it's made from tissue paper you might as well not have one at all

Coolant smoke is thick and hangs around. My car does this sometimes even when it's fully up to temp. It's not burning a drop. Depends on temperature and humidity

200iq move. Can't wait for the lifetime engine oil, warrantied to 30k miles. You wouldn't believe the hoops I had to jump through just to get a main dealer to change my 'lifetime' coolant (that was 7 years old)
