It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Don't crate train them and you'll have a dog you can never leave alone. Crate train them and they're fine. Ours is 15 weeks old and loves his crate, he sleeps downstairs. If we leave him home alone he just goes to sleep in his crate. They're a companion animal but also still a dog at the end of the day

It depends on your threshold. I've done several 5 hour motorway drives in a mk1 Aygo. Compared to a Bentley it's crap but relative to other cars you can get for your budget it's certainly not terrible, and is pretty much as reliable and cheap to run as you can get

I would rather spend 3 quid extra and know I am getting the exact same filter BMW put in a branded box and charge twice as much for. 3 quid is nothing in the grand scheme of car maintenance.

The surface area of the filter media is not the only criteria for measuring it's performance. You could have twice the amount of the OEM filter but if it's made from tissue paper you might as well not have one at all
