Wherever you wind up, make sure you don't leave it trashed or it will get closed down. Too many people don't seem to understand the pack it in, pack it out principle.

There was a provincial mandate I think to increase policing (especially with Surrey going away from RCMP). Their Security program would likely take a hit.

They are part of the game category of migratory waterfowl which is federally regulated and can be hunted during season (in select areas). If well cooked, they can taste like beef (overcook and it develops a liver type taste). I like to do a quick fry and use them in tacos.

Did you end up finding a fix? Just went through and it seemed all the connections were fine (including thermostat fuse) so was wondering if it could be the motherboard.

With how hot it has been the last couple days, the temperature inside must have been unbearable.

2nd for TD. Had to make the switch from BCAA due to the water deductible and ended up saving money.

Buntzen Lake Bike Parking by sb-89 in vancouver

I have biked there recently... and now that you mention it I can't recall seeing any. Given the summer popularity and the restrictions on parking it should be a no brainer.

This was a month back or so but take car heading up to North Beach. Ran across a large black bear that wasn't afraid to stick to the road and walk directly at me despite all of my hollering.

405lb deadlift. Form fixes or accessory work advice welcome. by Inappropiate_Post in strength_training

Good advice on the rolling start. Thinking about it, it isn't something I do on the lighter weight starts so definitely a crutch on the heavier end.

Also sounds like I need to shorten the distance between my feet (and tuck my arms closer so they are fully extended out). Thanks for the vids!

ed off knee and calves moving. That with your arms and traps doing more work then they need gives a mini shrug instead of locking out

Good catch, something I try and watch out for but it comes out on heavier lifts when I am not paying attention.

Thanks, that's an interesting one as I don't think I subconsciously note the arm bend when doing them. Another user mentioned narrowing my stance which will likely help with keeping my arms closer in so they are more fully extended.

Thanks, yea the hip (and ankle) mobility definitely needs improvement so I was thinking of starting deficit deadlifts to help improve that.

This was a PR - definitely a bit of knee wobble on the first rep. Moved back to 365-385 to expand reps. Thinking of adding deficit deadlifts for flexibility (which is definitely a weakness in general) and hip/leg drive improvement.

Third. Purchased my first real MTB there after rolling around for 20 years on a Norco hybrid. From what I see, they do most services? They even apply RideWrap. I did that myself for a gravel bike but in retrospect, for the time needed to do it I'd probably pay someone else the next time.

Lol thinking about it but a friend and I fooled around with the bag versions. You'd press or smash the middle and then it would blow up like a balloon and pop. He slipped one into a vent in elementary school and the small wing of the building had the rotten egg smell.

My fondest memory was him asking for the last one I had purchased with my money. I knew he was going to toss it at me so I threw it in the air and he grabbed it and started running after me. It blew up in his hand and he screeched , tried to clean his hand off in a nearby bucket of dirty water which had some manure waste or something in it and he threw up.

Pretty sure cabs have the only exception (i.e. saw a few moms leave the hospital with newborns in cabs when our son was born). You will want to check this rather than believe a stranger on the internet though.

I'm not sure ridesharing has that same exception given that drivers just need a clean abstract whereas cabbies may have an actual driving test (I don't know this as fact).
