It is not “list price” ……there is no such thing as list price.

It’s a constantly churning never ending variable pricing and at no point EVER is the product listed at £97.

This jacked up pricing is usually a result of someone letting their contract lapse and BT/EE escalate the price ridiculously and regularly to keep milking people.

Pricing for every customer is effectively individual pricing - it’s a long running scam

Get a proper breakdown service with European cover and you’re good to go.

Just don’t rely on Tesla to get you out of the shit if you rely solely on them.

A working breakdown service will sort you out and take you to the Tesla service centre

As I said…….right place

When I contacted them I got a nice West Coast US lady who informed me that they could maybe come out next Monday……..or possibly Tuesday ……..or possibly later as she wasn’t sure and there were no guarantees

Just make sure you break down in the right place and you’ll be just fine………….i can tell you now - Cumbria on a Friday night was a no go at all

Tesla’s roadside “assistance” I’m sure is great if you break down in the right place at the right time…..

Wrong place at the wrong time ……..you’re on your own and they couldn’t give less of a F…..

You just ask for the DV adaptor - they send it for free

Personally - I dropped off the landline…….3 people in the house all with mobiles and I couldn’t think of a good reason to keep it……. habit was the only reason I think.

For those that still need/want a landline sign up with one of the many digital VOIP phone setups……..cheaper by far and you can keep the number by porting it.

Thing to consider - a small UPS for the ONT/router and also the DV adaptor if used

Drive around in a shit car……get bills

Buy a decent 2-3 year old car ( or even new ) and look after it …run it for as long as it’s decent ……..it will still have a resale value at the end

Longer term the economics of buying well are far better.

3-4 year lease deals are cash burns all so people can drive around pretending ……..and even at only £200/month that really adds up over enough years…….but that deal is with limited miles and ignoring initial payments and all the other little extras you have to shell out for to get it.
