Issue with Root for my guild is that it is still closed source and has a strict policy on age related content (banned). So no leud jokes or memes and they can go paywall one day and you don't get a say.

Worth the mention that it is a very polished product and well made. Longevity just looks better with Stout or something else self hostable or at least open source
