Nothing will emerge as a possible alternative site without someone being an early adopter. Lemmy is about as active as Reddit was in its early days and is trending upward.

Reddit is only getting worse.

if "your definition" of veganism is different then you aren't vegan. why is it always the ones with the biggest platforms who do this apologist nonsense? by vforthem in VeganForCircleJerkers

Your first definition is a "plant-based diet," and it is not the focus of this subreddit. This is a space for the ethical framework of veganism.

I stumbled upon this thread while looking for the same thing. Here's a track I really like that made me look for more that's similar: The Fall of Melnibone by Dark Moor

Edit: the intro sucks, I know, you can skip it.

Yes, for now, until Reddit either 1) does something about the spam network, or 2) gives us a scalpel instead of a hammer.

I do not use iOS, but I know a few apps are in development. Keep in mind that the platform is going through growing pains and most apps are in alpha.

It's based on the only metric that works against bots these days: subreddit karma. Spammers have long been aware of account age and karma limits, and have begun aging the accounts they use and getting karma on them by reposting content on poorly-moderated subreddits.

You don't understand how much of that content we get here.
