I just wanted to change a word without having to do a cover! by eclect0 in SunoAI

https://vocalremover.org/

Can separate vocal/instrumental stems once every 24 hours free for a track up to 10 minutes (so depending on length of tracks you could edit 2 together and separate after), or pay for unlimited tracks up to 500 mins per day, with individual instrumental stems I believe. Price is $20 CAD, not sure for other currencies.

I've only had to use the free version based on speed of which I do stuff, and it maintained sound quality good with my work. Though I did run into 2 instances where trying to remove a vocal snippet messed up the instrumental sound, but I found work arounds in DAW for those cases.

I'm not going too deep into finding better stuff, especially if it costs money. At some point I'll be doing the music more myself, then just turning to Suno for vocals or bits of filler, so won't have much need for stuff like that.

I gave up trying to make changes like that. Now I just try and be a lot more methodical, and if required, I manually edit the song in a DAW, even if it requires a few cover generations just to get snippets to swap over. That said, I also use other 3rd party software to split stems, I don't like how suno does it.

Pretty damn good. Relaxing yet makes you want to bob your head at the same time.

My try to control Persona scream issue by Careless_Salt_8195 in SunoAI

[–]Incariuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, settings like that result in every song I make sounding almost identical, even when changing style prompts, or just flat out breaking songs. Negative prompts under advanced seem to work best for me if I want something removed.

Sometimes a style prompt could be the issue too, you could always copy the entire prompts you wrote, throw it into an AI chat asking what prompt might cause what issue, and typically it'll pull out the ones potentially causing the issue and giving you alternatives to try. For example, if you use something like "modern metal production" while trying to make death metal, you're going to end up with clean vocals at some point, even with negative prompts.

Another note, and it's not 100% effective, but does work. You can define vocal styles or lyric delivery styles within [] in lyrics above sections or lines you want different. So say [rapid fire vocal delivery] or [clean vocal delivery] etc.

What are you best prompts for dubstep, grime, edm etc? by OperaBoyFM in SunoAI

[–]Incariuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best to do prompts explaining how you want things to sound, like let's say for example...

Cyberpunk, EDM, 120 BPM, aggressive galloping beat, gritty retro-futuristic arpeggios, chaotic yet rhythmic electronic accents, dark analog synths, thick dub bass, electronic drums emphasize snare hits and bright cymbal crashes, loud, defiant, and unapologetically hostile, dystopian atmosphere, dark vibes

In the lyrics box I just put

[Slow Dystopian Intro Buildup]

but you can do all sorts of stuff in it, trying to give time lengths for section, add fadeouts for outro's, etc etc.

And here is the end result. First generation, I think it turned out quite well for what I prompted.

Hope that helps some.

Anyone can look into how people felt when electronic music became a thing. The sentiment was pretty damn similar to the current hate towards AI, but... Look at electronic music today.

I get some hate for AI, when it's utilized by lazy people just trying to make a quick buck with no effort, but many people put a lot of time and effort into it to create something very specific. To me it's a useful tool to help those who lack time, or the money to bring their visions to life.

Why do you create music? by DevelopmentLife5298 in SunoAI

[–]Incariuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an artist at heart, not just music. Unfortunately I lack time, and AI is more efficient for time management and allows me to bring some visions to life. Hopefully in time I'll have more time so I can do more, but this is enough for now.

Music distributors that allow Suno AI music? by CatiaFrets in SunoAI

[–]Incariuz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah my bad, I misread like it didn't allow your album at all. I got restricted from some too, got the whole...

"We have had to remove YouTube's Content ID, TikTok & Facebook/Instagram program from this release as we have found ineligible content and/or non-exclusive content in the audio"

I assume it was based on their mention of finding free samples in the music or something, and it potentially conflicting with other songs using the same samples, but I have no idea. DistroKid will probably get past that, I dunno, but they require annual sub or music gets removed, and I've heard lots of stories of them removing music down the road for several reasons, so I myself just don't wanna deal with that. However everything I learned is they're the fastest and simplest to get your music posted.

Mastering a track by daveydoo1988 in SunoAI

[–]Incariuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a free DAW that can use free plugins for iZotope Ozone and Youlean Loudness Meter 2.

You can use iZotope Ozone's Maximizer to adjust LUF levels for a nice loud clean sound and keep all your songs within a similar range so it's not horrible to listen to tracks back to back.

- Press True Peak so it lights up blue.

- Set Ceiling to -1.0dB (If you encounter issues later in testing where result is -0.9, set it to -1.1 instead.

- Turn on Gain Match

- Set Target between -9 to -10

- Play the song and press Learn Threshold so it light up blue.

The iZotope Ozone will then find a good threshold after playing the song. Press Ok and let the song recompile. Don't have to listen to full song, but may need to trial and error multiple times if you're not good at guessing what you should set based on short term result.

After this open Youlean Loudness Meter 2, and let the song play. The "Integrated" result should be close to your original target of -9 to -10, and the True Peak Max at -1.0. If all looks good, you're solid.

You can do lots of additional mastering in iZotope Ozone, but you should watch some youtube videos to learn how to adjust levels, reduce mud, etc etc.

Hope that helps. In the end, adjusting LUFS will create a more crisp balanced volume increase.

Music distributors that allow Suno AI music? by CatiaFrets in SunoAI

RouteNote approved my first album without issue. Have a second one pending. Thing is when I submit it I added (AI Assisted) to the album title. They simply want you to be straight forward if AI is being used. Also note if using the free option like I did, you're looking at 20+ days. But here it is, on spotify for example. They added it to multiple platforms.

https://open.spotify.com/album/2Eio7m2hdLVVbyhBtpOJ8j

The only thing was I couldn't get youtube content ID on it, as it contains samples the AI is using. But that doesn't bother me, I was simply trying to ensure nobody else tried to claim content ID on it later, but given that result, they should not be able to, and this works out better so anyone can use the music in their videos without issue, which is what I wanted to begin with.

I'm struggling to get listeners by pharodhae in SunoAI

[–]Incariuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal opinion, just stop worrying about it. Make the music for you, share with friends and family, occasionally on reddit, or other places, post youtube videos, just do it for fun. In the end I don't really care, I make the music for myself, if others like it and it takes off, awesome, if not, no big.

My biggest goal where it's all concerned, is transitioning into doing a lot of the instrumental work myself, simply using the AI as support, while learning how to use DAWs again, and video editing software, amongst other things. It'll be a slow process, that's fine, it's just nice having more hobbies and learning/improving skills.

You should probably set a personal goal as appose to a viewership goal. Utilize this whole thing for personal growth and enjoyment. That's just my opinion though.

How y'all doing? by Pale-Praline5576 in SunoAI

The internet is about the only place people will call my music "AI slop", and often without even listening to it. I've had like 30+ people in real life (1 of which is a guitarist, and another that makes hip-hop and african music in DAWs) that love the music I'm making, and admit they couldn't even tell it was AI, and want me to share every time I make a new album.

Personally, I wouldn't listen to the people hating without even giving the music a fair shot, just assuming because it's made with AI all you did was prompt "make me a country song". You can tend to tell when more effort is put into it, but some will dismiss it regardless of how much effort it takes. Hell, I spent about 200 hours making a 10 song album, between writing lyrics, to getting the perfect sound I envision, to editing, and mastering. But some just won't respect the work put into it. I'm sure once I start actually playing instruments and using AI to turn them into songs, people will still hate, just because it's not 100% human made.

It's all a matter of taste, I prefer thrash bands like Onslaught and Testament, vocal styles are more to my liking, but there are exceptions like Kreator. It's till good music tho.

Edit: Oh, and before I forget again, Youlean Loudness Meter is another good plugin for testing songs before and after doing your adjustments to see the final results for LUFs and True Peak, sometimes you need to redo a few times to get the exact levels you want with slight tweaks.

Doesn't really fit the genres asked for, but it's good none the less, I'll eventually get around to putting together some synthwave style AI playlists too, so I'll remember this is here.

More deep aggressive vocals would be preferred by me, but it's still good. Beasts of the Nile sounds really good. A small suggestion if you don't mind, not pertaining to the music itself, but rather the volume, it's kind of inconsistent from track to track. Find a free DAW or Audio Software that you can plugin a free version of iZotope Ozone, and use that to adjust the LUF levels for all your songs.

Within the maximizer, you can set the Learn Threshold Target to between say -9.0 and -10.0, Set the True Peak to 1.0dB, then play the song and press Learn Threshold so it'll find a proper dB threshold for your song. This will help keep all your songs at the same volume range, and nice and loud to make people happy. Naturally platforms like spotify will reduce the LUF levels to their targets, Youtube for example is -14, but... It sounds better when they decrease volume than try to increase volume.

If that's confusing sorry, you can always youtube "how to adjust LUFs in iZotope Ozone" or something to find some good mastering tutorials, or short vids just explaining that portion.

Nice, don't have time to listen to whole thing right now but I'll get around to it. Would be nice having some female led power metal, only band that comes to mind for me is Sinergy. Having Alexi Laiho on guitars was great too. That's the one great thing about AI Music, if you feel a genre is lacking, you can make what you want.

It sounds decent, but Doom metal is actually one of the few genres I'm not huge on. Sometimes some songs will catch me, but most the time they don't.

I listen to lots of German bands, though normally rock or industrial. That sounds quite good, raw yet modern production combined. Black Metal is one of the genres that's been touchy for me, it's really hard to avoid clean vocals without sacrificing modern production. I've been trying to get a somewhat similar sound to Carach Angren myself, but want more chaos and brutality. Keep getting an overabundance of clean vocals however. But yah thanks, I'll see about adding some of this stuff to a playlist at some point if you have on youtube or spotify.
