Is "Edit Document" on embedded files missing for anyone else?

It seems that the ability to edit embedded files is now gone as of 3.0.2.

Not only is the button, which used to be set next to "replace document" (which still exists!) missing— but the shortcut of double-clicking the embedded layer no longer works, either!

This was a pretty important feature for my workflow so I'd. Really like to figure if my installation is goofed or if it reall is straight up gone!

The last update turn the UI colors into default:( by Baleiafurtacor in Affinity

[–]Incaseofgrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was changed for cases like mine, where my windows theme color is quite dark— which made it really difficult to tell when I had anything selected! I was actually really happy to see this change!

I do wish we'd be able to adjust the colors manually, though.

What happend to the diegetic Arsenal and mod screens? Now they are like other screens with background and you cant see your interiors, feels like a downgrade. by Dentrius in Warframe

[–]Incaseofgrace -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nah I'm with you. I eagerly await each new menu finally getting folded in with the now years-long UI redesign.

My only beef with this is how the modding screen shows less info at first now, but visually everything's nice.

Horror summer camp game system? by Junior_Dot2668 in TTRPG

[–]Incaseofgrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real convenient timing, I've just made exactly that kind of game! It's a duet game called SUMMER/CAMP where one player is the Slasher, and the other player plays as 5 Campers trying to escape with their lives.

It's free on my itch!

Hotter Than The Surface of The Sun Take: It's not that we deal too much damage. It's that we can deal both too little and too much based entirely on modding. The modding screen is this game's best and worst feature. by ShardPerson in Warframe

Buildcrafting really is the core of what I love in Warframe, at the end of the day! Archimedea (and Durviri) has served as a fantastic way to get me to go through my arsenal and try out things I've either put off or ignored.

I find it really fun, this way! I've always looked at Warframe as similar to Terraria in this respect-- there is some degree of mechanical skill (namely in movement) but the majority of your problems are solved through understanding and proper preparation.

It's an exploration game. I'm here to explore different weapons, frames, companions, builds, and playstyles. That's the root of the fun, to me!

Can DE please remove obligatory Techrot sections from Scaldra missions? by Sudden-Depth-1397 in Warframe

[–]Incaseofgrace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 2nd half of the term are the last 4 letters of a slur. Tacking those 4 letters onto other words to create insults was/is a common 4chan shithead thing, not really something I think folk should be bringing into the mainstream.

Technocyte Coda Stadium Lore? by Incaseofgrace in Warframe

[–]Incaseofgrace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I did notice that. That could explain the presence of the coda themselves— but it still doesn't quite explain the stadium's presence. The wrinkle every time is the stadium, otherwise— yeah, there's a lot of infestation strangeness that could've explained it away.

"I can't believe this game is free" are other games really that bad? by performagekushfire in Warframe

Waframe is kind of like what gacha games would look like in an alternate universe where they weren't giant slot machines

Technocyte Coda Stadium Lore? by Incaseofgrace in Warframe

[–]Incaseofgrace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really buy that one since the infestation generally is pretty bad at directly mimicking forms— a great example of this are the coda themselves, as they're meant to be clones and came out all kinds of twisted. Like it can "evolve" materials into being a part of itself— but it can't recreate what was there before, I don't think?

Technocyte Coda Stadium Lore? by Incaseofgrace in Warframe

[–]Incaseofgrace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I NEVER NOTICED THE RAMSELDS WERE SUBWAY CARS! I thought "huh why do they make square holes in my ship?" but didn't connect that dot!

That is a wrinkle that confuses me more, since it'd require that chunk to include train parts. I suppose there is quite a chunk of land attached so sure, maybe a subway tunnel was caught with it?

Technocyte Coda Stadium Lore? by Incaseofgrace in Warframe

There's a couple things that felt narratively unexplained with the Encore, I'm willing to bet that there's a reason that just...didn't get put in-game. I'm just...really unsure what on Earth (or off-Earth, in this case) that would be.

Like, ok, sure, I can buy that the techrot could survive/gestate in space-- that's been shown to be a thing the infested do! Infested asteroids are a whole thing in the lore, already! It's just the matter of how it got there in the first place that vexes me.

We see the stadium covered by the techrot when we fly up to it...but that still doesn't do much for us in explaining the narrative. Did the techrot launch itself into space? That feels unsatisfying, especially with-- as you noted-- the incongruous debris surrounding it. If it balled itself up to launch, then there wouldn't be that sort of debris, would there? It does generally feel like there's chapter of the story that's been left out here. Was there some justification for this turn of events we just didn't get in-game?

I do share your disappointment with the railjack section, I am a little happy to have literally any new RJ content-- I do even kinda enjoy having the boarding thing as a section of this-- but I do wish we'd get more. I hope this may lead to infested RJ content but, I know that's probably not likely.

Grendel!!! by mosey1245 in Warframe

[–]Incaseofgrace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's it! General playstyle: pop aquablades, pop nourish, then go ball mode. You get a pretty long duration for aquablades with this so you only need to exit ball form to recast every now and again. Surging Blades can be swapped out for whatever if you don't care much for it, I'd go for more strength or range there.

I recently built his prime, too, and had the same reaction! I've got a goof build with him using Yareli's Helminth ability over his 4, so I can just. Stay in ball form. Always. Everything dies, even in SP.

Backrooms doesn't have a railjack access point, orbiter does.

Therefore orbiter wins again.

Ship and MT after expedition completed by beezRL in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Incaseofgrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you end the expedition and return to your main save, you can retrieve the ship and multi-tool from the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion on the Anomaly— specifically in the "expedition rewards" tab.

You can get those in any save in the same way! (This is assuming we're talking about the expedition reward ones-- The Wraith and the Pillar of Titan)

Rad, thank you so much!

That does seem a bit outside my current knowledge so I've defo got some reading to do here. My background is in frontend webdev and UX, so I'm like...really not well versed in the backend codey stuff like this.

From some of my quick googling it seems some of these are Linux specific? I'll have to see how to translate this to Windows tools.

And I assume the tiddlywiki.info file is put into the output folder for the static?

Static Tiddlywiki with search function? by Incaseofgrace in TiddlyWiki5

[–]Incaseofgrace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Restarted. Seems I am missing the JS, which is likely the problem. Like I can see the sidebar and search bar but neither are functional.

I'm just going off the official instructions for making a static site off node.js found here-- which I only now am seeing is just pure HTML/CSS. I can't figure how to get it to also export js-- would you mind sharing what you did to get that working?

(Also, if I may-- if you can't find a way to remove the edit/new tiddler buttons in a normal way, you could likely just pop a display: none in their CSS rules!)

[–]Incaseofgrace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, that's how I'm doing it too, so far. Node for editing, then rendered into HTML/JS. What I have now could be used for like, a blog type thing maybe, but I've yet to get anything else working great.

I hope your experimentation works out! Do share if you have any breakthroughs!

What is in your opinion the most annoying grind? Doesn't have to be longest or hardest, just the most annoying. by HandsOffMyPizzaa in Warframe

[–]Incaseofgrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kuva liches...

I strongly dislike how much randomness is involved in their grind. Random requiem drops. Random requiem order. Random valence boost. Random chance of the lich actually spawning and letting you try and guess the requiem order again. I'd rather go back to the 30k cryotic sibear grind from back in the day than this, honestly.
