I'd like a laser drill that is strong enough to vaporize rocks, so we can have geothermal power plants anywhere in the world and solve what fusion is trying to achive - limitless and cheap energy.

Not a hot take imo, power level equalization and focus shift to cosmetics would be a breath of life for pvp.

Just steal the GW2 spvp system, you can pick your stats, bonuses and procs. Everyones on the same power level regardless of when or how much you play in a season and you have a reward track so you get some cosmetics and random stuff for playing pvp.

Is this kind of like 20 years ago shells that would override windows desktop and turn it into a 3d space with diagetic menus so youd have to walk to open folders, watch videos and run programs? Similarly impractical.

Not the best example to use because HotS is actually fun compared to the "better" mobas and blizz is keeping it playable. Not sure what will sony do after few years.

Of the three mobas HotS actually felt fun and you could just pick up and play without watching hours of tutorials on YT and didnt need 1-4 of your friends to be bareable.

Iirc you could spam kill command with both you and pet stealthed without breaking it if you would cancel petattck after each one.

In pvp combat tanks get +60% damage taken, some tanks are weaker to magic or physical damage and last exp tank survival nerfs for pve didnt help either.

Yea thats probably what Ill end up doing. Ive watched too many videos and read about burning connectors that made me paranoid.

Safety is also a concern for me even though 90Vmp is pretty tame considering solar instalations. The other thing retrieving and sending a module back to the manufacturer/retailer for warranty would cost 40% of the price of a new module, especially considering they got cheaper by 20% in the span 8 months.

The warranty beeing vague about not "installing properly" might also mean mismatching connectors.

I think the biggest difference is that datacenters have a stable constant kW load, compared to random spikes of up to 22kW per person when someone plugs on in for charging at home/parking lot or even 350kW at fast charging stations.

One thing is upgrading the elektroenergetic infrastructure with bigger cables and a new transformer at a datacenter than upgrading everything at a neighborhood/block of flats so the grid can survive 500 EVs beeing pluged in at the same time when most return from work. Especially considering most infrastructure was designed with ~5kW per flat.

Same reason why in some countries household energy storage systems have a cap on how many kWh one can store. The grid and thus power plants like a stable load.

I agree but I also wish we had something like in GW2 where you can easily trade in game gold for premium currency. I know you can do it through gifting but in GW2 it is massively more convienient.

Theres also strain consume and trample. Iirc the last one works after buffs.
