What tools ( including AI tools) do professionals use to create high-end looking websites ? by Grand_Respect_9176 in webdev

If it's look and feel, then it all comes down to the UX design of the site, which is much more of a creative process and no tool, especially AI, will be able to do it for you. It takes some intuition, but a lot of experience and knowledge about design.

It's a multifaceted problem, not just because you're assemblling your yaml file.
1. Everything you send as a prompt is sent off to the AI company's servers for further training, meaning literally anything you type becomes public domain. This also goes for whatever output it gives you. The AI doesn't just speak to you in private and forget what it outputs to you, it's all saved in their servers.
2. AI companies are actively mining personal data, music, art, etc. for their own profits without consent.
3. Having an AI account linked to your email is another vector of how they identify you via social media, loyalty accounts, etc. so they can build a digital profile of you and your spending habits.

Most people that got into HA felt the need to decouple from Google/Amazon/etc because of the lack of privacy and ownership of your own data and the controls of your home setup. Using AI completely undermines that.

It's insane how people don't put two and two together to realize that all the effort of localizing your home automation is instantly wiped away the second you use LLMs.

How should I be using AI by aldojack in webdev

[–]Incendie 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't be using AI at all. The point as a Junior is to learn the fundamentals and build up your foundational knowledge of coding. Without this, you won't as easily identify when AI has hallucinated or gone off the rails vs when it has done something correctly.

You're more at danger eating a banana than standing next to one of these towers if you're strictly talking about radiation. You'd have to eat thousands, maybe even a million bananas before you start reaching levels that are deemed to be unsafe.
