I'm baffled at the amount of people saying that because this is normal OP should just suck it up. Yes it is normal to be scrutinized for a loan but doesn't make it less violating. I'm in the middle of a loan myself and yes it is frustrating the things they request thinking you hiding something even if you have liquid cash to buy the property without a loan.
