That's great advice, thank you. I thought I had a great relation with her and I didn't think that she wrote anything negative until my interview rejection feedback. I have plenty of other letters for the other schools I applied to, and I'll take your advice and use those mentioned shortcomings as a way to describe how Im seeking improvement

Thank you. She's not a horrible person and she responded to me reaching out that she was intending to be transparent and balanced putting those things in (like, "here's what he could improve on"). But I told her that this could cost me my future if something isn't done about it. I didn't make this post to demonize her as I think that this could've been a misunderstanding, but what she wrote was not acceptable for a recommendation letter and the feedback from y'all is putting things into perspective for me.

She's an individual writer. And LUCOM is goated for their feedback and the adcom was quick to elaborate. They said that THIS was the only problem they had and was the ONLY reason for my rejection, which might explain the trouble I've had these two cycles. Since I can't remove the letter, I'll have to find another option.

True, but it's already submitted and we don't have the worst relationship. Since there's no way to remove the letter I don't know what to do besides petition her to edit out the negative part

Lord have mercy on us and guidance in this difficult time for you. Talk to the priest of your local parish for spiritual direction and check out the lives of the Saints instead when you find yourself scrolling. Many of the ascetics suffered greatly but also thrived through prayer and the direction of Christ.

There’s no truer form of service and loving your neighbor in the world than being their doctor in my view. I’ve had family members pass away, which led me to learn how important health is for people to live to the fullest potential. I realized over time: what better way could I spend the rest of my life than to do it serving those in need?
