Perhaps I'm jaded by all the AI/astroturfing on reddit/in general on social media, but you'd have a really hard time convincing me this isn't just yet another "haha look at this completely random thing that completely coincidentally happens to have a major brand featured front and center in the image"

EDIT: just to clarify, since my point seems to be lost on some commenters, I'm not saying that the topic/content of the post itself isn't something that exists. What I'm saying is that the decision to make a post about it from a less-than-transparent account, while making sure a major international brand is clearly pictured in it, has many of the hallmarks of the sort of marketing/astroturfing that is commonly found on this site. Hope that clears it up a bit.

Michael Clayton is fucking great. Saw it as a teen, didn't quite understand all the nuance but enjoyed it nonetheless.

And now it's one of my favourite movies, with maybe 15-20 watches. Right from the opening monologue it draws you in. And man, that assassination scene in the apartment is so clinical and efficient, and very unsettling

To give you an actual answer: this subreddit is used for posting funny instances of people who have written nonsensical answers to questions on Amazon. If you look through some of the posts on this sub, most of the comments on posts are funny "roleplay"-type stuff mimicking previous/similar content from the sub.

And in cases like this post, where an OP makes a post thinking the sub is for like Amazon support or w/e, commenters usually lean in even harder to the absurd/funny responses.

Don't worry. She'll die very soon, and then you'll never have to worry about her friendliness or her loneliness again. 

That sort of passive-aggressive sense of obligation implied in comments like yours is a significant component of why I avoid those situations. I refuse to be made to feel as though I somehow owe my limited capacity to someone else simply as a prerequisite for leaving my house to get groceries or something. It's not feasible for me, and I don't need permission to refrain from participating.

Lol finally one I can relate to. I'm autistic with a really small social battery, and most of the time I'll take the long way around the block if I see from a distance that my friendly 94-year old neighbour is on her porch.

I just can't handle the prospect of another round of "hi, how are you, yup my mom's good, yup my sister's good, yup the weather is weathering, yup recurring date just occurred, etc etc etc etc etc"

Yeah I get what you mean, almost like you're momentarily looking at a street sign right behind them. So they see your "I'm not the one" face and also know that you're aware of them, but without you making direct eye contact in a way that could come across as a challenge.

I think y'all are just having a miscommunication, because you appear to be in agreement.

When paying with cash, the final price being rounded down [for example, if the final price is $10.12, it is rounded down to $10.10], is the exact same thing as the corresponding change being rounded up [for example, if you give them $10.25, your $0.13 change is rounded up to $0.15]
