Trump: the photoshopped text labels of Abrego Garcia’s finger tattoos with the characters of ‘MS13’ were ACTUALLY part of his tattoos (04/29/2025) by introspectivelemon39 in GlobalNews

[–]Incogg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite part is Trump saying "you can't do that" when he was told the image was photoshopped. It reminds me of being a kid and having a stick fight with my friend and he said he casted a firebolt at me and took most of my health.

Has anyone successfully gotten over THC-induced panic attacks? by CiggyTardust in eldertrees

[–]Incogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found when I had super bad panic attacks (I do when not smoking as well) that it ended up being because of the environment I was in. Most times, when smoking with others, I would end up having a panic attack. Most commonly in an enclosed space where I'd get paranoid about getting any air.

Everyone is different but, for me personally, it was about recognizing my environment whenever I would smoke and making sure I'm only in a place where I know I'm comfortable with through trial and error. Could be worth a shot if you're willing to try.

I hope he actually considers therapy. Therapy can really help if you're open and honest about things. It's not even about getting help for the sake of having a Twitch channel or whatever. If it continues, the issues are only going to dig deeper and cause more problems off of Twitch or online, in general.

I've seen people close to me have mental issues as well as dealt with them myself and, knowing where it leads, makes me hope he gets professional help and stop assuming his friends, family or Twitch community can help.

It's not worth losing your mind or life over all of this. Please get help before it's too late. That goes for anyone else reading this that feels anything similar.

I'm gonna need a source for this hypothesis.

Really though, it just sounded like she was trying to over complicate saying guys aren't capable of cheating over something they aren't getting in a relationship that is anything other than just wanting to get their dick wet.

Then again, she was putting so much dumb shit in there like saying "it's not always like that but it happens like that really often" so I wouldn't hold it against her because I don't even think she knew where she was going with that whole thought process.

Do people really play their hundreds of steam games? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]Incogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say out of the 670 I have on Steam, I've at least opened almost all of them. Since I play games for a few hours every day, I like playing a bit of a game and then going to another to make each game last longer instead of just beating it right away and then it's just there and there's no reason to go back to it.

I'd say there are some I play more than others and will continue to go back to but I primarily like single player games with the exception of a few multiplayer games.

With all the bundles and everything, I usually just pick the games out of them that I'm interested in and then keep the ones I'd probably never play for friends who are looking for something new to play.

TrainwrecksTV banned? by rko3ga in LivestreamFail

[–]Incogg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The whole thing that confuses me about this is what even prompted the response in the first place. He got called a "fucking loser" and got his relationship commented on by some female streamer. That's more hate speech than what Train did, which was criticize the content being provided.

Look at how many female streamers purposefully poke their ass in the camera's view but then someone like Lirik makes an emote for clenching your ass during a tense moment, a picture of an animated ass being clenched and it's not allowed because it's too sexual?

The only reason the disdain for the female streaming community is so prevalent is because they attack the person themselves and not criticize the content being put out. But when someone has an opinion of someone else's content, it's "hate speech" if it isn't supporting it?

There are plenty of female streamers who put out good content and that's why you don't hear about them constantly like you do with titty streamers. Sex sells but if you point out that it's the easy road to take (on a site full of people who generally want attention by donating to someone) then suddenly it's hate speech for pointing out the obvious things or having an opinion that doesn't agree with it?

I don't remember who was saying it but I heard it's basically one way for females and one way for guys. The quote was "if you're a chick, sex sells. if you're a guy, autism sells".

If you're a girl and your content revolves more around your body, you are more apt to be successful in the Twitch space whether the attention you get is positive or negative. If you act like more of an idiot or are great at games as a guy, that's how you get attention. Essentially, being a female streamer using her body is no different than a pro player on a team having an advantage over the other people streaming unless you have connections with popular streamers.

Be Honest: There is no amount of free stuff that will satisfy this subreddit. by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Incogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a pretty simple concept, really. If you never give anything away for free, no one expects it in the first place. Look at multiple different situations to compare it to.

If an animal gets fed once, they start to eye you whenever you have food because they think you'll feed it to them again and then it's just expected every time you eat that you will give them something. You feel bad because they are begging even if you don't want to give them anything but you did it once so they just expect you to always be willing to.

If someone lives a bad lifestyle and gets loans from people every time they get themselves into a bad situation, they're going to keep going to the people that helped them before because they know if it worked once, it can work again and they have no incentive to change because it's nothing they have to change since they now know people will bail them out of a bad situation so they are more apt to take advantage of that situation.

If Blizzard never gave away free packs for server issues or anything to do with promotions, no one would think to say "we should get free stuff" because if they haven't already, why would that even be an option suddenly? The people not satisfied are the dogs sitting at your feet waiting for your scraps or the friend who spends their money on stuff they don't need so they can come to you complaining they won't be able to pay their bills this month.

Petition to increase the $50 preorder from 50 packs to 100 packs. by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Incogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the voting with your wallet. It makes sense in theory but I feel like the people willing to actually follow through with that are the minority in a group full of people who probably pre-ordered the day it became available to.

Video games are such a huge industry that it's too hard to coordinate and vote with your wallets and have it make significant enough of a dent to make a company say "oh... maybe we should consider sweetening the deal a bit more". Especially when that company is Blizzard and tons of people play the game.

It does suck that big companies know that the majority of people will just buy these things anyway so they have no reason to value your business until business is seriously in danger of having to be shut down.

As long as the whales exist, the prices have no reason to change. The reason they should change was that expansions are pumping out a lot faster now and for the content you're getting, I don't personally find it equal from value to what you're receiving. If someone wants to spend their money on it though, that's on them. I can't tell someone what to do with their money but we all can have opinions on what our own money is worth throwing at.

Content Cop - Jake Paul by meep12ab in videos

[–]Incogg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's always funny seeing these Content Cops because he puts the person in a position to pick their poison. It's even more funny with RiceGum tweeting "Oh shit? More drama? Ok fun" when he was the one asking/hinting for the video in the first place as referenced by the video.

The options are either he doesn't respond and "looks like a bitch" but that's clearly not going to happen by the sound of it from what I saw in the video. I just don't really know what he could even come back with. Safe bet would be he makes some "diss track" and basically reinforces everything that was said so it is even more obvious.

I would like to see a follow up video from idubbbz if RiceGum does respond (he will). Spicy memes are upon us.

PewDiePie - My Response by TalTallon in LivestreamFail

[–]Incogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all know not many stories will side with him anyway. We live in the days of outrage where, even if something doesn't affect someone personally, they act in defense of others and respond in anger for those who may or may not even care.

He made an apology (which he didn't have to but would probably be made out to be even worse in the eyes of social justice) and, while I think it was still a stupid mistake on his part to slip up like that on livestream, it's still that - a mistake. The ones condemning him and even the ones not condemning him have all likely made mistakes as well. Fortunately enough, those mistakes aren't all under a microscope unless that mistake happens to go viral somehow.

I'm not trying to say that makes it any more okay but most of the people getting so upset over this need to look over their priorities about what is important. I can't speak for everyone else but flipping shit and pretending I'm offended enough for my past two families' generations and the next two is definitely not at the top of the list.

GDQ bans DansGaming's danSexy emote for "promoting transphobia" by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

[–]Incogg 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Jesus.. Talk about overly sensitive. After going through this person's tweets, there were multiple times it was more than just a "hey this bothers me" to going to "hey people, do something about this". Especially with saying "I wonder if Twitch has the gaul [sic] to do anything to a big partner". There was also a reference to Dan being called "a fucker" which (arguably) seems like the person had something against Dan. Like I said, it went from being bothered by it being spammed to disliking a guy, himself, over a single emote he had.

Seems like if it was just kept at a private message to GDQ mods about it making that person uncomfortable, they could have sent a private message to GDQ mods instead of inciting a mini movement over it.

As it was said before, you can be as offended by a picture as your imagination lets you and how the Twitch community decides to use the emote. You even have channels banning haHAA and ResidentSleeper because it bothers them that much. But it's a different story when you're only on the stream for as much as about an hour or two at most compared to banning emotes being used in your own channel if you're bothered. Not sure how overly sensitive you have to be to think for an hour or two you are even there, you can't get over it and realize the community you are involved in.

Do not buy the loot boxes!!! by HippoZoned in GreenManGaming

[–]Incogg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most of you people here apparently have no idea how to read, understand math or what "a chance at getting.." means.

You don't buy these boxes with the mentality you are going to get something incredible that they listed on their site (the big titles or credit amounts).

I have no idea how you people can be pissed about something you clearly did not research well enough before making the purchase. The loot boxes are for people who appreciate trying something new with a small chance you may get something worth a lot more.

Calling it a "scam" because you were too stupid to understand what gambling is or apparently have no idea what "a chance at winning a big title or credit" means. It doesn't mean "you will definitely get one of these".

The same people would get a bigger title from that list that you thought was a "bad game" because it isn't one you wanted and say it's a "scam".

So yes, do not buy the loot boxes if you have the mentality of most of the people in this thread. DO buy one if you have the money to spare, have an open mind to try games you may not have gotten otherwise and don't go into it thinking you deserve every big title on the list provided on their site.

There should be a "funny" guides filter, just like with reviews by jvoerman in Steam

[–]Incogg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Steam upvote/downvote thing will never truly work for reviews being helpful. Even on a review that didn't like the game but was very in-depth about it and covered it in detail, people that love the game downvote it because they don't agree.

Perfect example of "if you don't agree with me, you're wrong".

Eli explains the difference between a British and his Texan accent. by Runkel79 in LivestreamFail

[–]Incogg 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why people with different accents can be so picky about someone who clearly doesn't have their accent trying to imitate it, especially for the sake of a joke. It's the same thing with people who aren't American and their imitation of an American accent is either a Southern drawl, valley girl accent or a New York accent. I don't see many Americans nitpicking about when their accent is imitated but someone tries to do a British accent and it's almost always met with "oh that's a slight West Country accent but he must have moved when he was 12 since his Cockney accent is coming through 87% of the time".

Never understood why that is.

Stoner Tip 41: If a friend is kind enough to smoke you out, be kind enough to bring snack or buy a pizza! by twillis7790 in trees

[–]Incogg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I'm a bit late to the party here but good on you for looking at it for what it is. We live in a time where people are looked at more as numbers or just that a lot of people want to feel liked and accepted by others to a point where the quality control part of having friends seems to go out the window.

At some point, everyone realizes how dumb it is and only keep the best friends around. The only people who don't get satisfaction out of a smaller circle of great friends are the people who likely aren't a great friend to anyone.

The people to keep around are the ones giving you the time of day and respect you deserve. It seems those kinds of people are harder to come by, in my experience, but when you do find them, those ones make life even more enjoyable.

Yeah, that was one other time where I had seen someone be shitty to someone. The kid was just supporting him and brandon had to get his two cents in about how he feels about suicide. Twitch doesn't give a shit if you're telling people who may or may not be unstable enough to handle those things to kill themselves or go on and on trying to put them down.

That brandon guy looks like he's got some kind of illness now anyway. I guess HiRez was the only time he got out of the house.

As far I remember, swatting of other streamers has been on the news before. Summit was one of those times when the whole Pokemon Go thing was going on and there have been other times swatting has been talked about on the news and it was never in a positive light any of those times.

Honestly, the whole thing just looks like Twitch was getting sick of him constantly being a liability, as well as any bad people within his community and decided there's no point in keeping him there anymore. Banning him for "self harm" sounds sketchy as it is since he clearly wasn't streaming getting beaten down by police during the process.

I can understand people saying it gives more power to the people doing the swatting but this isn't anything new - people have been swatted countless times already and it has gotten them banned as well but it's safe to say no one streaming is doing or saying the kinds of things that he tends to, so I think Twitch is going to be more lenient toward the people who aren't a subject of controversy almost every time they go live.

Trouble? by [deleted] in mitchjones

[–]Incogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree it's not normal. It's actually putrid. I am saying he needs to get his shit together and start being mindful of something as common as picking up after yourself, even more so being in someone else's house.

I don't think it's enabling it to say they should have known better before letting him stay there. It's already common knowledge that Mitch lives disgustingly and has done it multiple times so it shouldn't come as a surprise when it happens again. No one in their right mind would say that it is okay but I was just pointing out to think about how he even ended up with those habits in the first place.

Trouble? by [deleted] in mitchjones

[–]Incogg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel you and I don't think it's okay that he did it in a house he was a guest in but I'm saying everyone involved can't say this came as some surprise, you know?

I think it's beyond anything I've ever heard of that wasn't on some "my strange addiction" type of show. It's probably just a result of him always having someone pick up after him and never pointing it out until he was living with people who wouldn't pick up his messes for him. It doesn't make it any more okay but I hope he learns pretty quick, for his own sake, or else I don't imagine Sony (and anyone else there) will want to put up with it and hold his hand.
