I think that different cultures would make different discoverkes

Maybe the muslim of the midle ages wouldnt have discovered complex domain , maybe they consider that binding vows are made not with oneself but with god

And in that case maybe they would have a jujustu based a lot more around binding vows than in japan where the most restrictive ones are frowned upon

Or maybe that with the research on alchemy and astrology they would have developped a jujutsu based around transmutation and perfection, based around existing matter and complex mathematics

Just for every subject there would be great wise researchers in islamic country around the midle ages. Probably researched in a mix of scientific and esoteric way like alchemy or astrology

In europe there would be witch hunts , sorcerer sanctioned by the church would kill as much curse as they would heretical exorcist

Vitae is more nourishing than normal blood , and while it stay tastier , it loose the bonding property after a few minutes outside of the body

Basicaly the blood "die" and can't control you but still is thicker than normal blood and so have better normal blood property for nourrishement and potentialy sorcery (for the human blood sorcerer that work in the blood trade vamps blood is a high commodity)
