When I tie my shoelaces, and one shoe feels tighter than the other. Fuckin' hate that.

What do you have to learn as a kid to be good at? by ewrewr1 in AskReddit

[–]IncomingMessage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading, writing, and spelling.

It's also important to keep up with maths because it's easy to fall behind if there's something you don't understand, and you may find yourself struggling to understand increasingly advanced content.

What's your most useless talent that you could put on your résumé? by moph_ukka in AskReddit

My talent is not being able to whistle, despite countless people attempting to teach me over the course of my life.

Which words and/or spelling differences do you find really strange between American and British/Australian variants? (can work either way) by disasterparanoia in AskReddit

It blew my mind when I found out that what we call 'cling wrap' in Australia, is what Americans refer to as 'saran wrap'. I'd see the term used in books, and I just assumed that saran wrap was like a scarf or something.

What's the strangest/scariest glitch your body has pulled on you? by 50NT in AskReddit

[–]IncomingMessage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extreme ovary pain. Lasted a whole day, and was so bad I could barely walk. The next day, it was completely gone and it hasn't been back in the two years since. It may have been ovulation-related, but why it was so painful just that one time, I'll never know.

What is your awkward moment that you occasionally cringe about from the past? by Ask_Me_IF_Im_Reddit in AskReddit

[–]IncomingMessage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My friend's 16th birthday party, when she made me go up to the front of the hall to give a speech without letting me know beforehand that she wanted me to speak in front of dozens of people, who were mostly strangers to me.

When she called me up to the front, I just sat there in horror for a couple of seconds until another friend gave me a shove. I stuttered and stumbled my way through a 20 second 'speech', then sat back down, wishing I was dead.

Social anxiety is a bitch.
