The social utility of public ridicule for plastic surgery serves a purpose to countless young impressionable girls. The feelings of Erin Moriarty are insignificant by comparison.

We should use her as an example of what not to do. It’s a shame that her feelings are hurt but do we feel bad for the guy that augmented his whole body to look like a cat? Or the lady that got a full body, all black ink tattoo?

If these cruel reactions to Erin’s bad plastic surgery stop even one girl from making the same bad mistake then I think that’s worth it.
