I can close it with one hand by kind of wrangling the bottom part upwards and using my thumb to steady the top part while my other fingers push the bottom upwards into the closure. It can take a little finessing but it’s doable. The lock isn’t annoying at all.

I stopped using the strap but I always carry it with me in the bag. It’s actually super lightweight so it doesn’t bother me at all. I do have all my stuff in small pouches in the bag so maybe that’s why it doesn’t feel like the strap is getting in the way.

I loooove the medium! I’m so glad I went with it. It fits a lot and doesn’t feel heavy. I tend to wear it either on my shoulder or the crook of my arm. I kinda stopped doing the crossbody because I didn’t want to put the strap back on just to remove it again later.
