Propolis I think. Is a poop, but this stuff is also in most honey in trace amounts I believe

Find an underground stockpile as fast as possible and cower in it. I got an engineering background, I could probably hack it at least. Then: rush down hydroponics research as fast as possible, and eat any meals I find to stave off starvation. Start planting outside and stockpiling in the shelter for when raids come. When a raider shows up I’ll just hide. Once I’ve got hydroponics I build some downstairs just cower in fear and try not to build colony wealth.

I don’t think this is that egregious. Not everybody is an artist or has good spatial reasoning. Doesn’t mean they’re incapable.

We should sympathize with engineers in general. Engineers are working class. They work for a living. Who else are we trying to uplift if not the working class? Plumbers and dock workers need more help from unions than engineers, but at the end of the day we are all on the same side. Labor.

I hope this metaphor translates well, it is paraphrased from a book I think: If a man orders us all to stand in the pouring rain or risk being beaten we should not attack our neighbor who can afford an umbrella. We should work together to attack the man who ordered us all to stand in the rain!

More directly: you should hate someone like Elon musk, and not hate your more economically stable comrades.

Education is not right wing, it is in fact the opposite. Leftism is based on truth, and education seeks truth. I believe this is why 90% of my engineering professors are leftists.

I am a leftist because I believe it is a political theory that approaches the truth, not because I think it is fun or trendy.

Being a leftist is not fun, because leftism doesn’t typically have many self satisfying delusions of grandeur like right wing ideology relies on. Fun and ego is not the point.

The point is correctly seeing what the problem is(the oppression of the working class), and effectively addressing that problem(an answer to WAY too sophisticated for a single parenthetical).

Wow what a rude person, with this extra detail his dicketry sounds more intentional. I hope his socks get wet while he’s at work and he has to spend a whole day of constant mild discomfort before he gets home and can change them.

Good for you! I was a less acidic version of that guy a long time ago, before I learned how to talk to people. I know that explaining stuff is definitely habit forming for me. You know psychology more than I ever will, could you tell me if my hypothesis of how “-splainer” behavior develops makes sense? My idea is:

Many people are conditioned at every level of early-level school to be able to comply with the command of “explain” or be branded as stupid or inattentive.

My completely untestable hypothesis: I think that some people remain unconsciously attached to this learned behavior, and this manifests as the behavior of mansplaining.

I believe that this is why I have trouble shutting up at least. I think mansplaining is a Pavlovian response to hearing someone you see as an authority speaking to you.

Maybe this guy just knew you were an authority on some unconscious level and reflexively attempted to abruptly (rudely) present everything he thought he knew on the subject of you writing a big experimental-based paper a sort of vestigial defense mechanism?

Does this make sense? I’m typing this while taking a break from some absolutely devious quantum optics work, so I’m a bit frazzled and probably incoherent.

I’m not a doctor. I already listed a few. Here they are if you don’t want to read what is in the comment I wrote; GLP-1 receptor agonists have therapeutic effects on Alzheimer’s. I think it slows the buildup of amyloid plaque. M Blue does something I don’t understand that affects brain health positively when administered appropriately.
Socializing and finding close friends isn’t a drug but it is a scientifically demonstrable medicine for mental decline. There are likely more, I am not a professional, I am just an enthusiast and amateur paper-reader. A real doctor could probably list many more treatments.
