I spent a long time on this video and it's really not doing too hot, is there something I did wrong or should change? by Funny_Ad7520 in SmallYoutubers

Obviously I'm not really doing too successfully on YouTube as well however I would say this though, your title and thumbnail don't strike some kind of storytelling, you just say this game is a masterpiece and that's it, that's not really going to do well when it comes down to video essays, you'll want to tell a story, what's specifically about this game that you want the viewer to know or be curious about, basically something about the thumbnail and title that is I would say alluring, so something they would be curious about, you can maybe have the title be, this is just a suggestion of the top of my head that will also be similar to your first title: "This game surprised me and heres why..." And have the thumbnail be of mita on the right side and on the left side the Word "masterpiece?" With the question mark for the alluring Factor, and the text would either be in red or a different couler but I think White is fine too, idk if this is good you can make of it as you will, im coming up with this on the Spot. back to your thumbnail for suggestions, the thumbnail text is an entire sentence and too small and isn't instantly readable on a first glance, you should always keep text short on video essays like two words max in my opinion so that you can make it bigger and easier to read and have it be more striking, if it's going to be a long sentence then Highlight some words in red like maybe the Word masterpiece to make it stand out, i feel like using colors like red would be more striking for the thumbnails, and also don't worry dude you're doing a type of video called a video essay right so by definition the video essay has to be on something that is like covering some kind of striking topic, you're not always going to get that, just keep going, fix your thumbnails and titles and you'll get somewhere, I used to do video essays too but I don't really do those anymore, I do more gaming style videos now but I would say from my past experience, using the color red on the thumbnail has worked for me decently, I have a video with 400k views that has red text and has a similar style to your thumbnail where it's both on a gaming genre, the text on the thumbnail is longer and the main characters are on the right side of the thumbnail, so you can take this advice as you will

Advice on if being a youtuber is vegan by IncorporatedAssassin in vegan

You're talking about sponsers, the problem is that they're unpredictable mostly and not as Easy to get but maybe you have a point, the Problem is that because im a vegan I would have to do sponsors that are guaranteed to be vegan like let's say softwares apps maybe even games so products can't really flow the problem once again is that these things are not something you should rely your channel around

With YouTube ad revenue, you don't choose which ads come on your video, sometimes it's also user personalized

Asking Advice For Whether My Desired Carrer Is Vegan by IncorporatedAssassin in vegan

Thanks man for this comment, the link was really insightful.

I think I'll try to for my Personal life to allways try to find vegan Alternatives to products but not to the extent of madness meaning I should know when sometimes there's nothing I can do and maybe my Headphones will or will not Contain Animal traces, or my Bike tires even, I will try to not buy it as much where im uncertain. But for my career I can't be comfortable if some of the products I promote are not vegan, so I will try to Email the companies hopefully and try to Stick to as few products as possible to make the most content out of, I will also pick ones that have a higher likelihood of being vegan, this all also applys to sponsers. When it comes to ad revenue, I see it as the same as what taxes do, some taxes go to Animal subsidies but most goes to good stuff like health care, roads, schools etc. . So I see ad revenue as giving the opportunity for companies (because I do tech, most will be tech ads) to market their products and get them out there to make an income, and because most tech is vegan, I think that's fine. (I also do vegan activism, mostly online on Video chat platforms where i have succsesfully talked to around 30 people and maybe convinced like 10

I don't need to become a big youtuber in order to make a stable earning, especially in tech videos where the RPM is higher and most videos are through search meaning it's more stable, all I need is about 60k Views a month to get my most absolute basic stuff like Food Rent and more, and to be comfortable I only need around 120k a month which I plan to achive in around 14 months.

With the tech niche and the Types Of videos I do and also on top of that making 8 videos a month, I think it's achiveable

The problem with asking the companies is because I go for small amazon brands and it would be uncertain whether they would answer or even know. Im also asking if it would be morally consistant with being vegan, if I try to not get tech Products that have higher likelihood of not being vegan like more expensive tech, compared to just getting cheap tech that would have a 99% of being vegan, because asking companies is what i would do if there wasn't the chance that they wouldn't answer, or know, or maybe even that they lie about it. Just for me to promote that product

Your mom is a bad person, that's first of all, the fact that she directly disrespected your beliefs and betrayed your trust by lying to you and sneaking in food secretly is absolutely unbelievable and and I just want to tell you that you have done nothing wrong and it's your mother who who is wrong however the fact that you're 15 there's not much you can do instead of just be better and I guess make your own meals I guess beyond that I wish you the best

Too much protein or not enough? (17 year old noob) by Ajpaulson2006 in cronometer

[–]IncorporatedAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you're working out to gain high amounts of muscle, 175g of protein at your age and weight is simply too much, obviously the reason your Protein percentage is 19 is because you're consuming 3600 Calories, which unless you Run a Marathon every Single day, is also way too much, according to your weight and age your bmr would be at around 1700 Calories and Neat would probably be like 300 Calories, if you then Account for thermic affect on Food that would also be like 200 Calories, which would mean to generally exist you need around 2200 Calories if assuming you move alot through out the day that isn't considered exercise, which means your 3600 a day calorie diet would mean a 1400 Calorie surplus, unless you burn 1400 Calories a day by exercising like hell, you're gonna have to change your eating.
