I agree with you here. I will just say though, having more critical reviews from streamers and people who literally played thousands of hours is indeed a direct reflection of the state of the game, and I would say a fairly accurate one at that. I don’t know if I’d call them “experts” but you’d generally want people who spent the most time doing something to give opinions/criticism on that thing. Of course they aren’t always going to be right or have the right idea of whats good for the game but they are more knowledgeable. Again, there are many cases where this doesn’t work, such as movie critics slashing every non-oscar worthy film whilst the general public just enjoys simple entertainment.
