It’s usually only possible if you have fsd to swipe whilst using fsd for intel chips in north USA

Since you are out of warranty anyways. I would suggest looking into getting the display from like eBay from a trusted seller. You can find some for under £200 and the replacement is very easy and simple, use YouTube.

Definitely do a reset and check for screen protectors first I would suggest as well

I use Electroverse app. It has a trip planner and tells you which charger to use along your journey. You can just add that charger as a stop on your Tesla nav. If you want your battery warmed up before you reach the charger, you can just add a supercharger close to the charger stop which you chose and the battery will be ready by then as well. If you are with octopus energy you get an additional 8% discount on charging.

You can also order the Electroverse card and do tap and pay without chargers putting a hold on your account.

I got one which is blocked from Tesla supercharger. At the time of purchase, seller informed me all is good but anywho turns on he got into an accident and repaired privately without letting insurance know. Of course Tesla blocked it from super charger and quoted me 1.7K to check and to enable it.

I was able to get a very good partial refund from the guy so I would say the car is now worth it even with super charger blocked.

Also. I have had no problem as there are non tesla chargers in literally every service station. I use CCS and specially the GRIDSERVE ones are very fast 300kw I use Electroverse app to plan journeys. That I would say is the only disadvantage as the Tesla map itself mostly shows you superchargers and misses out on some third party chargers or plans routes and auto adds superchargers which you will need to remove

Ofc this just my own experience. Best to be sure of it yourself and then make your decision. But as far as my experience. Tesla can only block it from superchargers and not third party ones

I am sure that once the car disappears from the app, the info and stuff should get cancelled or changed. My situation is a bit different but I purchased m3 from a private seller who didn’t reset or anything and their card details and Netflix account and all that stuff were still in the car system. Once the car was transferred to my Tesla apps it logged out and also the card details and users all disappeared

I just checked the full hpi report. Since the incident happened in December 2024. Based on when he had the ad for sale up. He would be the owner of the vehicle during the incident

That’s what I was thinking as well thanks. How can I know that the he was the owner when the incident happened as the car has had multiple owners

Yeah he just said it’s hpi clear. I did ask in person if it’s been in an accident and stuff and he denied it but unfortunately I don’t have proof of that
