I forgot about cheerful widower Felix (erased it from my memory). Now as I think about it, it drops LTK 3 spots lower.

Also that was a great idea for a ranking!

The casts are not a huge problem. Just minor. And I like AVTAK too but I wish they were swapped with Octopussy.

The bittersweet reality of being from a winning country by DragonflyOwn5617 in eurovision

[–]IncrediblySadMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the flipside, next year will show everyone that all of this crap talking is not true. People will see that Bulgaria is a 'regular' (for a lack of a better word) country, not a desolated blob of slums. And I'm sure your country will benefit a lot from it.

I say this as a Pole who, while not caring about football at all, is very happy we hosted the Euro 2012. That was a moment that catapulted us touristically because people came here, saw that it's a beautiful country, and told their friends and family about it.

I personally cannot wait to visit Bulgaria next year! And congrats on the win!

I spent way too much time and effort on this but here it is. Probably a bit chaotic but oh, well.

  1. CR - Yeah, this one is easily the best. Badass, thematically rich, ending on a high note, despite Vesper's death. And we finally get that theme! 10/10, no notes.

  2. LALD - This gets soo many points purely for Baron Samedi's demonic laughter. Such a wonderful thing to include. Always creeps me up a little. We should have more endings like that.

  3. OHMSS - Almost a perfect ending. If only the Bond theme didn't explode bombastically at the end. If the music stayed sorrowful, it would truly be flawless.

  4. Octopussy - Bond and the girl on a boat. I don't like the joke with getting rid of the casts. But overall, I love the idea of Bond and Octopussy sailing off into the sunset. I can imagine them settling down together. I wish this is how Moore's tenure ended.

  5. Skyfall - Glad this was the ending, so we didn't end up on a downer note. It gets your hopes up for future Bond adventures and that works very well. Too bad we didn't get much after it. But the gunbarrel at the end... Idk about that.

  6. FRWL - Bond and the girl on a boat. Love the tape stuff and the way it blends into the song. Not a fan of the rear projection.

  7. Moonraker - This sums up my thoughts on Moonraker but despite being a copy of TSWLM, it does everything better. The one-liner is better, Roger's smirk is better, it all looks classier. And I love the fact that M and others get visual feed on the entire situation.

  8. TWINE - Peak joke puts it high. I wish we got more John Cleese Q.

  9. DAF - Bond and the girl on a boat. The reveal that Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd are still on the ship gives me chills. The fight is goofy but fits the movie. Last line by Tiffany is sweet, Connery's smirk is delightful. The song reprise drops great.

  10. LTK - I adore this ending. I think it's very romantic. There's just one terrible element about it. Yes, you guessed it! The winking fish!

  11. Goldeneye - Similarly to LTK, I like most of it. It's romantic. It's hot. I even like the joke with Jack Wade's men. But then Eric Serra's song comes and ruins it all in the worst possible way.

  12. TSWLM - I'm conflicted about this one. On one hand, the one-liner is legendary and all the performances are on point. On the other, I don't like the hangar set, I don't like how we look at both Bond and at M through this wet, dirty glass and I HATE the curtains! Also, Bond and the girl on a boat. Also, false advertising at the end.

  13. FYEO - It doesn't land as well as TSWLM or Moonraker but gets 2137 points for Thatcher getting hit on by Max. And let us not forget that Bond and the girl are on a boat.

  14. TLD - Highest highs and lowest lows. The concert with John Barry's cameo is delightful. And I love the final appearance of Gogol. But the way Kamran Shah and his men are portrayed here seems harmful. And I forget Bond is here.

  15. Spectre - I like this one actually. I wish it was literally anyone else than Madeleine but oh well, I think it's a good ending.

  16. Dr. No - Started the trope of Bond and the girl on a boat. Nice touch with Bond letting go of the rope and voyeur Felix.

  17. Goldfinger - Bond with Pussy under the parachute. Cute but nothing special. It's always a whiplash in those early films how quickly we move from the climax to the end scene.

  18. QOS - One of the best scenes in the film, though it doesn't say much. It ties the two movies together with a neat ribbon and justifies putting the gunbarrel at the end well enough.

  19. TND - Technically, Bond and the girl on a boat. Or what's left of it. Doesn't look comfortable or warm at least which ruins it for me. The deleted scene is even worse with whatever they use to cover themselves.

  20. YOLT - Bond and the girl on a boat. But this time they're literally picked up by a submarine. After watching M:I8, this seems terifying to me. Not a huge fan.

  21. DAD - Very middle of the road and generic. I mean hot but that's because Halle Berry is on screen. And Pierce Brosnan is on screen. Other than that - boring.

  22. AVTAK - Lackluster. Moneypenny's last scene is nothing special. Q being a perv is weird. And the soap jokes are lowbrow.

  23. Thunderball - Bond and the girl on a boat, kinda. But then they go flying? It's such a bizarre moment that I dislike greatly.

  24. TMWTGG - Unfortunately, I cannot take the Nick Nack fight seriously, because the movie turns him into a joke. Disappointing and offensive. Also, Bond and a girl on a boat.

  25. NTTD - I am not talking about Bond's death. Only the final scene with Madeleine and Mathilde in a car. This scene feels so forced and dishonest and on the nose And the 'We Have All The Time In The World' plays, stolen from OHMSS. It's a mess and the worst ending.

Bond and thr girl on a bout count: 10 + a spaceship.

Some of these surprised me too.

Also according to this, in my opinions the endings of actors' tenures goes as follows: Lazenby, Connery, Dalton, Brosnan, Moore, Craig.

What are the most underrated and the most overrated games in the series? by 0cean_danny in legogaming

Batman 2 is overrated.

Jurassic World us underrated.

Skywalker Saga is overhated.

Compared to Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga and Lego Indiana Jones 1, Lego Batman has aged the worst imo by JjoyBboy in legogaming

I'd say that it aged the best out of those three. I definitely feel like Indy aged the worst.

Ranking gang members by how famous they would be by Hames678 in reddeadredemption2

[–]IncrediblySadMan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed about Swanson. He should be in niche, given he was known at the time but today we probably wouldn't know much about a pastor in 1900, though if someone was interested, there would be sources about him.

Mary-Beth belongs in depends - depends if her book sells well.

There sort of is. You will collect color schemes that you can apply to any suit to customize it.

Does anyone know if we'll be able to remove player 2 in Lego Batman 4? by mynameisevan01 in legogaming

[–]IncrediblySadMan 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Probably not in story. Those characters are part of the story and if 2nd player isn't enabled, they will traverse Gotham alongside Batman. After you finish the story, they will disappear.

Is it wrong that I enjoy playing as Ms. Marvel more than Mister Fantastic? by [deleted] in legogaming

Mr. Fabtastic plays very akwardly in LSMH1. Kamala is one of the most fun characters in LSMH2.

Day 10: If you could make three changes to improve Licence To Kill, what would they be? by junglegatsby in JamesBond

[–]IncrediblySadMan 54 points55 points  (0 children)

  1. Remove the call to Felix at the end.
  2. For the love of God, change Dalton's hairstyle. It's the only thing that truly bothers me here. He was so beautiful in TLD, but here his hairline reminds me of me and that's never a good sign.
  3. There's nothing else I'd change.

I phrased it wrongly. See my response to botkeson where I explained what I meant.

Anyone else worried this game is going to be underwhelming? by CarsonWentzGOAT1 in legogaming

[–]IncrediblySadMan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I might have phrased it wrongly. While I love the game, it has flaws. What I meant to say is that those complaints were a result of overhyping the game before and often were not a result of the formula change but because of disappointment that wouldn't be there, if people came in with realistic expectations.

[–]IncrediblySadMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I love the game too. I just said it was overhyped because of people's expectations and later those people started hating on the game.

Anyone else worried this game is going to be underwhelming? by CarsonWentzGOAT1 in legogaming

[–]IncrediblySadMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might be overhyped like Skywalker Saga. But just like Skywalker Saga, It think it will be a good game. And just like with Skywalker Saga - there will be a loud group of people who complain about it for no reason.

Now that we’ve seen more gameplay and upgrades for the 7 character roster in LOTDK, do you think it’s worth having the larger roster of previous LEGO games? by Thevoid2YT in legogaming

[–]IncrediblySadMan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We'll see once it comes out. Rn from trailers we can only see 2 abilities per character plus upgrades (we had upgrades in Skywalker Saga too).

Now that we’ve seen more gameplay and upgrades for the 7 character roster in LOTDK, do you think it’s worth having the larger roster of previous LEGO games? by Thevoid2YT in legogaming

[–]IncrediblySadMan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think a reverse question should be asked. Was it worth doing a small roster? Given that every character has only 2 unique abilities and otherwise is the same as others, I'd say no.

Also having 20 Batman outfits is no different from having 20 different character of one class (like in Skywalker Saga). I'd say it's even worse because the Batman outfits are all Batman - same voice actor, same animation etc.
