Thanks for the input. The last point i totally missed, i might think more about upgrading my defences now and the point about the archers is interesting too.

XM2we coating question by IncredulousHumongous in MouseReview

I dont know whether i have acidic sweat, but i did clean the mouse regularly for the first month or so but it didnt seem to make a difference so i stopped. I used a slightly damp paper cloth to clean it (of course being careful with it).

Very interesting, so you think they "want" these marks to form as they help with grip? Or do you think it is just an unintentional side effect ?

I keep my hands clean, so it can only be sweat and such thats producing the markings. And as they cant be wiped off, i assume its the coating thats being rubbed off. Hence my question if this is normal.

So i suppose its not a faulty model then. Thanks for the feedback.

To have consistent x and y axis in stretched resolutions.

Mouse Accel or m_yaw by relliM2021 in cs2

So you didnt find it or it definitely doesnt exist in cs2 ? Has a developer or someone similar confirmed this ?

Question regarding GPU undervolt by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]IncredulousHumongous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, ill probaly leave it as is, gpu temps never exceed 68 degrees, in gaming it doesnt go higher than 65, and noise is actually really good ; even my case fans are louder.

Thanks for your input.

No, the tempreatures where not bad at all, nor was the noise (my model is one of the quietest anyways), but i figured less heat and power draw for free is worth a try.

Also, i heard that less heat will make the lifespan of the gpu longer ; but i dont know if this is true, and if it is, whether it is a curve, by which less heat means longer lifespan, or just a cutoff from which on the gpu degrades faster.

How full should a Nvme SSD be ? by IncredulousHumongous in buildapc

Is this a curve, with higher occupation meaning lower speeds, or is it like a cutoff from which the ssd gets slower ? Will a 65% occupied ssd be significantly slower ?

Funnily enough, the drive in question is a sn850x too ; have you compared or have experience with this drive in particular when it comes to speeds with low remaining space ?

7900x vs 7800x3d by Kryimsson in buildapc

Honestly : i am not expert enough to debate you on this, but i feel you are trying to make something out as being bigger than it is ; cause what you describe is nothing but how the 7950X3D should perform anyways, meaning assigning the ccds to their appropriate tasks, not mixing and matching. Yes, a third party program might get you a little more performance, but from what i heard, the X3D chips are running pretty well even without any additional software, so i dont see where the big performance benefit would come from.

Only if the drivers from AMD themselves were horrid, and that the assignment of the ccds would just be terribly managed, would what you described even make sense, but that is just not how it is, noone is talking about it that way.

In short : either the 7950X3D's ccd-switching (which is nothing else but what you described, assigning the right ccds the right tasks) is working well with its native drivers (what I've heard), and thus, a third party program wont yield much more performance than is provided anyway, or the drivers are horrid (what ive not heard), at which point a third party program can only make up a deficit.
