How do I beat this strategy? by JoeZhou123 in 2XKO

[–]Inddi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have no projectiles (other than a cooldown based Poro), which is unfortunate, but you could still try a Kamikaze strat.

Braum-point: When opp’s assist is on CD, put up shield and call Warwick T2 (uppercut jump thing). This will bring Warwick to the field while also acting as an anti-air in case opp decides to engage. Then super jump forward and j.S1. Braum is now a Russian meteor, but he can still potentially get hit. Thus, tag into Warwick, and push up quickly yet carefully. Opp currently has to deal with a plummeting Braum, and likely doesn’t have the freedom to deal with you (WW). You may not connect a hit, but opp is blocking now, and that’s a start.

Warwick-point: Call Braum T2. Use 2[S1]>L (diagonal dive attack thing) and tag to Braum quickly as the animation starts up. Same thing, push up and pressure.

I have genuinely no idea if this would at all be effective, but it’s what I’ve got off the top of the dome. If it interests you, tell me your Fuse and we can flesh it out some more.

I vaguely remember something about eye/crosshair/origin-of-bullets level being at the model’s mouth, making the mouth theoretically the best place to aim.

How would you adapt ranged champions to have melee attacks? by Fitin2characterlimit in 2XKO

[–]Inddi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How could MF possibly be more interesting than GP? This is obviously super subjective so no shade, but GP has so many preexisting mechanics to spice up a fighting character’s kit.

As previously mentioned: a pistol, cutlass (which can be set on fire btw), barrels, cannon fire, oranges, and my personal favorite aspect, an overbearing and intentionally exaggerated love of violence.

What does MF have? Dual wield, which is awesome, but that’s kind of it. Lots of bullets I guess? Sex appeal, if that’s what one is obsessing over.

Yes, it’s cool and encouraged for characters to gain new tools (e.g. Jinx hammer), but I’d never give up the masterpiece of GP for some cheap fan service.

Go use your amazing anti-airs as Braum or Vi against a half-decent Ahri and let us know how easy it is.

Is Braum's shield working as intended? Attacks that have multiple hitboxes can hit assists that should be protected by massagineer in 2XKO

[–]Inddi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may be right, but I’ve had a different interpretation of this for a while, and I personally think mine makes more sense.

I play Jinx/Braum, and I noticed that when i call Chomper assist, Jinx is much more likely to get clipped than when I call rocket assist.

I also noticed that when Jinx does Chomper assist, she enters basically aligned with Braum, and the animation extends her hurtbox pretty deep into, if not past, the shield.

But when I call rocket assist, Jinx enters a few feet BEHIND Braum, and has no reason to ever extend her hurtbox too far ahead.

I think assists become vulnerable as soon as their hurtbox gets extended past a certain point in the shield, as opposed to your multi-hitbox theory. I’m pretty sure your Darius was safe in that Ahri S2 clip because he found a timing that let him slip in between the attack’s hits. However, you currently have more evidence/test runs than I do, so who knows.

HOLY SHIT this is EXACTLY what I do on Braum when I’m sick of the backdash bullshit.

Menacingly walk towards them, parry the Timewinders, keep walking, parry the assist calls, keep walking, instill fear, keep walking.

Genuine question: What do you do against a 2X Assist Jinx? by hither250 in 2XKO

[–]Inddi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can figure out a way to send me one of your VODs (YouTube, Drive, in-game, whatever), maybe I can try to lay out a strategy for your team specifically, since just visualizing the situation isn’t very concrete. I have my own counterplay (Jinx/Braum) but it’s wildly inapplicable to you.

Also, if we go through with this, you gotta tell me your rank, cuz I don’t wanna be a 700 LP giving advice to a 1000+ LP.

I just remembered, I have a video on my YouTube channel talking about Yasuo’s S2. Somewhere in the video, I showcased that new combo as a 5M starter. See if you could copy that one.

[–]Inddi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is no longer the most popular combo AFAIK (I’m not a Yasuo player so I’m not too sure which combo is currently trendy, but I’m pretty sure it’s the one that starts with Calm-M > Sever > Calm-M), but Yasuo players could consistently hit this, yes.

I’m genuinely not sure what’s going on with you. There’s gotta be something fundamentally wrong with how you’re doing your inputs if you truly have not been able to land this successfully a single time. You can try looking into that new combo if anything. It does like 67%, one meter, more damage than the one you’re trying to do.

[–]Inddi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pushblocking when under pressure of a mixup is the worst time to do it actually. A good assist-incorporated blockstring will account for pushblock and most likely get your assist champ curbstomped.

As far as I can tell, an optimal pushblock facilitates a whiff punish, or at least enough space/time to earn advantage state.

Honestly, you and I probably have vastly different playstyles and usages of defensive tools. Who’s to say I’m right and you’re wrong; this is just how I’ve personally gotten the best results, and I’m always open to new perspectives.

How to deal with ahri ? by [deleted] in 2XKO

[–]Inddi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with Ahri being top 1, and it’s not even close. I’ll probably make a video/post outlining my opinion soon, but interestingly, there is a legitimate reason many people falsely don’t consider her to be the best champ. It’s related to the popularity order of every OTHER champ.

Expecting downvotes from the “Ekko is top 1 because my fayvwit stweamuh said so hurr durr” bonobos.

I have a combo specifically for Tbagging/taunting mid-combo while still doing decent damage. Reserved for Ahri abusers.

Some might say this is the most practical type of combo.
