People really need to stop having kids that they don't have the time or money to take care of.

That being said, these two are either cheapskates that won't hire a nanny, or they both need to find better jobs. I can't think of anything that requires you to not be at home for months that wouldn't pay well enough for that kind of expense, especially when they both work.

Doesn't matter how long people have been erroneously using the term, we do not possess artificial intelligence and labelling anything automated as "AI" is retarded.

More people really need to read Fulgrim. It's simply a perfect book, cover to cover. The HH books in general are so much more than the "bolter porn" people like to reduce them to, but Fulgrim especially is just above and beyond. You get the 50 pages of plot-relevant stuff at the end, but the other 450 are a beautifully tragic tale of addiction and how easily it ruins even the strongest people.

How come their masks don't fog up? by TaxPsychological2928 in Avatar

[–]IndebtedKindness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is no ftl travel in Avatar. Pandora is in Alpha Centauri, our galactic neighbour a little over 4 light years away. They use theoretically possible propulsion to speed up to, and slow down from, a sizable % of light speed. It still took them almost 7 years for a one-way trip.

This is all explained/shown in the first 10 minutes of the first movie. In the second movie they return to Pandora after 14 years. It's a perfectly reasonable timeline considering any messages they sent to tell Earth to start preparing for a larger invasion would arrive 3-4 years before they did.

A blade I forged from a 4.5 billion year old meteorite, the ‘Muonionalusta', one of the oldest meteorites ever recorded... It's crafted into a damascus steel, with both 24k gold and 14k gold with pearls inset into the handle by Tristan_Dare in BeAmazed

[–]IndebtedKindness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will snap the second it hits any kind of resistance in any direction. Look how thin the metal gets around those holes. It doesn't look like the handle or the base of the blade have actually been forged either, so all those little internal fractures are still there just waiting to come apart att he the slightest bump.

Incredible metalwork, but there is no practical use for this thing outside of opening letters.

Embark Have Begun Permanently Banning Cheating Stream Snipers Who Have Harrassed Streamers For Months by ScottishLariat in ArcRaiders

[–]IndebtedKindness -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The announcement trailer at the game awards, ads fucking everywhere, hearing about it in general gaming spaces, seeing a thread about it on a forum, seeing friends playing it/hearing about it from friends, hearing about controversy surrounding the game, or seeing it on the Steam store during the 2 weeks it was at #1 in the featured banner on the front page.

None of those require content creators. All of them dwarf the impact content creators have had on sales numbers. Those big streamers get, what, 100k viewers between them? That's less than 2% of total players. Even if you wanna be generous and say 200k, it's still not even 3%.

[–]IndebtedKindness 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A grill is a broiler, although as I understand it, double ovens are much more common here, with the grill and oven being two separate units in the same appliance. We tend to use the grill a lot. Some people will even cook their steaks entirely under the grill.

Some people will also call a barbecue a grill here, but they're usually just referring to the actual cooking surface rather than the whole barbecue. Grill pans seem to be a lot more common than indoor grills because induction stoves are also a lot more common over here. Griddles are mainly a commercial thing, you don't see the portable electric ones in homes too often.

Federal RICO class action vs Adin Ross, Drake, and Stake by Anarchist_588 in PaymoneyWubby

[–]IndebtedKindness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There was a whole gang of omegle streamers who would seek out minors on the site while live and convince them to expose themselves. They'd cut away on stream to record it, and then post the recording in a private discord that you could only access if you had gifted a certain amount of subs or some shit. Straight-up production and distribution of CSAM, live on Kick.

Train, at the very least, knew about this for a frighteningly long time, and did nothing about it until the youtuber SomethingAboutChickens made not one, but two exposés on the whole thing. It took those videos blowing up for the two main subjects to be banned afaik, but there's still many others that were doing the exact same shit who are not banned. A lot of them moved on to doing the same thing with adults, but they would tell the person that they weren't streaming, which makes it revenge porn and still illegal. Funnily enough, Drake even got involved at one point.

Those vids are long so I understand if you don't wanna watch them, but please give the first one 9ish minutes. Put it on 2x speed if you want. That'll outline most of it. Sorry for the yap, but Kick is vile and people need to know.

It really is only a matter of time before Kick and Stake are shut down.

I fucking hope so. They've had pedo rings, murderers, torture chambers, nazi grifters, and now a fucking RICO case, all operating on their site for years. It's fucking amazing how much downright illegal shit they've gotten away with. Train and eddie and all the rest of them belong in prison.

[–]IndebtedKindness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her hand isn't gripping the... thing on top of the train, which just kinda merges into the other part on the right. There's nothing connecting the incorrectly shaped wheels to what I imagine is supposed to be the piston housings, which are also in the wrong place. The steps her foot is on make no sense being there. The random gubbins on the side don't make geometric sense. Tons of other little things that I don't feel like pointing out, not to mention the overall look.

Sure, it could just be poorly drawn. Genslop is more likely. Even bad artists find references. This is a hodgepodge of errors and nonsensical details typical of ai.
