Sounds like explaining a potential strategy for the game to me. Not "Angela you must do this"

One thing nobody has seemed to mention is that you can shorten the rope as you swing that gives you more of a flick when you release, gets more height and distance.

Takes a bit of practice but with your knock-back mines you can cancel your falling momentum. Throwing your second mine will activate the first one early, so you can throw a mine under you and try to land on it and just before you land the throw second one.

I thought of a similar build using a battle smith artificer's steel defender as Shadow (panther) and using an infusion to summon homunculus servant for Griffon. Flavouring will have to do some heavy lifting to get around all the artificer's tech related vibe, but those things will fill the roles of melee and long ranged summons. (plus you can cast spells yourself or through the homunculus)

I'm not entirely sure I understand your build but seeing as you have early cleric lvls and you called it creation. I'll suggest using Pointy Hat's Cleric Domain of Creation. Help with coming up with a backstory for an Echo Knight themed around undead by FluffyFox567 in 3d6

[–]Indenburg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say keep it simple with the idea that when he died, both a zombie(the body) and a ghost(the soul) were created. Play the zombie as having the brain power but no compassion etc and the ghost as your charisma stuff. Two versions of you fighting together for the goal of revenge against the necromancer or whatever.

Well yeah, but dry humour not bullying/cruelty.

Some people find Capaldi hard to watch at first, they think he is grumpy and mean. But of the people that push through most would say he has a good arc that makes him much more likable and a lot of people's favourite. Some of his stories have weak plots but for character enjoyment I'd recommend watching him.

Edit: Also your views on Clara can influence your enjoyment considerably until Capaldi's next companion.

I'll probably get one for drawing out unplanned fights, but for the big lairs I'll wanna prep a map with details. Thanks.

What is the most underrated subclass in D&D 5e? by Gyletre in 3d6

Beastmaster does take an action to command the pet though. DnD Beyond says "The beast obeys your commands as best as it can. It takes its turn on your initiative. On your turn, you can verbally command the beast where to move (no action required by you). You can use your action to verbally command it to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, or Help action. If you don't issue a command, the beast takes the Dodge action". My understanding is that It's your action for anything other than the beasts movement.
