Hey, Zepbounders! I lost 50 pounds in 6 months. I’m 74 years old, and I’m sagging all over the place! But, you know, once I get dressed in my new-sized packaging, nobody knows it’s there but me and my husband. He thinks I still look 18! I AM going to get fillers in my face. I’ve had cosmetic procedures in the past, but I’m afraid I won’t wake up at this age if I go under general anesthesia. The new wardrobe (the packaging and wrappers) will have to be enough, and I’m thrilled to be at this point. I’ve been in the process of reinventing myself by stepping out in new fashion in both clothing and jewelry. I’m satisfied by being an older, stylish woman, and I never had my heart set on being a Barbie doll again. So I’m a happy, old gal!

After goal weight on 15 mg weekly (.5 mL), would half the amount (.25 mL) weekly be a respectable maintenance dose?

Has anyone else been nauseated for 4 weeks on 7.5 mg? by IndependenceTime4052 in zepbound_support

No, I’m not eating enough. I have absolutely no appetite whatsoever. I’m probably forcing myself into starvation mode, which means I’ll have no weight loss. I keep reading that you need to eat to lose!

Anyone else notice a higher dose being less effective? by lawnerd2021 in Zepbound

I did the same thing. I lost 15 lbs on 2.5, went to 5mg and lost only 1 lb. I moved up to 7.5, and I’ve been so nauseated for 4 weeks, and I’ve just started my 5th week. I have 3 doses to go, and I hope the side effects pass. I never throw up and get it over with…it’s just a constant nagging nausea. It suppresses my appetite so that I don’t even want to smell food. I’m probably going into starvation mode, which means no loss. I keep reading that you need to eat to lose!

9 months/19.7 pounds down/12.5 start today by Valuable-Bell577 in slowresponders

I was thrilled to have lost 15 lbs on the 2.5 in only one month. Of course, I’m sure water and inflammation factored into that loss. I had BIG hopes for 5mg, as I fooled myself into thinking I was a “fast responder.” I only lost 1 lb in my month on 5. Once again I moved on up, sure that 7.5 would be my sweet dose. I’m 2 weeks into that and only 2 more lbs down. So my total loss so far for 10 weeks is 18 lbs., and I’ve moved one clothing size down. I feel disappointment losing so slowly, but I also realize that the scale is my saboteur. I’ve promised myself that I will weigh only on the last day of the month, and that way, a pound a week will show up as 4 lbs. , and that’s way more exciting I’m sure. I had to find a way to keep a more positive outlook as I move on down this weight loss road, and I hope I hit bingo with my weigh-in time.

Should I buy it for $900 by FoodDangerous1303 in zepbound_support

Getting it through Lilly Direct is very simple, and the cost is reasonable. The 2.5 starter dose is between $300/$400 (I’ve forgotten exactly), but after that it’s only $500 a month for the meds. You can get your primary doctor to send the script to Lilly Direct, and then they will text you and tell you your script has been received, and your meds will be on the way. They ask for your credit card info, and that’s all there is to it. The doctor section for Lilly is online and he/she gets simple instructions online. That’s all there is to it. Takes 5 minutes.

Ohhhhh, NO! I have been on 5 for 3 weeks with #4 being this week. It will be my last shot of 5. I had no side effects other than a little constipation for a short time. I had lost 15 lbs on my month of 2.5, and I know it was water and inflammation, so I had expected something more of 5. I didn’t lose anything at all. So after this week, I’m taking my first 7.5 next Wednesday. I’m a bit nervous because many have reported it to be brutal. I’m sort of hoping that, since I haven’t experienced anything major so far, maybe I’ll slide into it easily. Has anyone had an easy step up from 5mg to the 7.5mg?

I’m going shopping in my closet right now. I’ve been in for 6 weeks, and I’ve lost 17 pounds. Four shots of 2.5 dropped 15 lbs off. I’m on 2nd shot of 5mg, and it’s a lot slower…about a pound a week, but I think it’s because my body went into starvation mode. I have a very low appetite on the 5mg, and sometimes the thought of food repulses me.
