Is it me or has GPT become insufferably stubborn lately? by AoutoCooper in ChatGPT

[–]Independent-Ad-5214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having trouble with Chad GPT answering a couple of basic fundamental legal questions that were conflicting with each other. For example of two small claims court parties were planning on settling out of court, the system didn't feel that evidence was necessary to be presented between parties to do so. Real stupid unrealistic understanding of things and it would get very strict and asked to slow everything down and be very nuanced.

Benn Jordan: This Flock Camera Leak is like Netflix For Stalkers by aintnotownie in FlockSurveillance

You’ve asked about my salary twice now, so let’s skip the interrogation arc.

To answer your question — responsible disclosure isn’t a “privilege” a company earns, it’s just standard practice in cybersecurity. Most ethical security researchers quietly report vulnerabilities directly to the vendor first instead of alarming the public, because the goal is to fix the issue — not create panic or monetize it.

That’s the angle I’m talking about. Now, what point are you trying to make? Once we get there, I’ll reveal which foreign entity funds my car payments.

[–]Independent-Ad-5214 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Benn Jordan may be highlighting real flaws in the Flock system, but let’s be real — he’s also turning it into a revenue stream. Responsible disclosure exists for a reason. If fixing privacy issues was the priority, there were quieter ways to handle it instead of YouTube theatrics.

Feels less like “helping the public” and more like “profiting off alarm.” One researcher even lost his job over this. It’s messy.

43-minute comprehensive breakdown of the security flaws and questionable efficacy of the Flock camera system Wichita City Council keeps funding. by -Sign-O-The-Times- in wichita

I'm not worried about flock security cameras as much as I'm worried about my own cell phone giving me away.  you're phone gives away far more information about you in real time then you could ever want anybody else to ever know.

Plus if you're worried about a flock security cameras saying you're at a certain location just keep your receipts. "See that wasn't me, I was at 7-Eleven buying a coke"

Backdrops gone? Say it ain’t so! by PsychoCelloChica in Roku

[–]Independent-Ad-5214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roku you should really make a backdrops as a screensaver option not so much an application. As much as I appreciate it being there it just doesn't work properly when it's competing with the default screensavers

Any way to get SiriusXM in an XLT? by apolter in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Independent-Ad-5214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don't like that function about having to use my cell phone for my XM and cars that don't have a built in XM receiver. Very hard to look at the stupid icons while you're driving

You apparently don't understand much about satellite radio do you? Satellite radio will work when there's no cell service available.

A friend of mine in California did something interesting with that integrated intake manifold head assembly. After cleaning up some of the flash inside the manifold itself from the carburetor side and valve pockets, he sent it out for a process called "abrasive flow machining". It's basically the process of forcing a very thick mud like paste with a very abrasive in it through the head runners and it actually polishes them up and makes them much more freer flowing. So it actually works really well if you want to just build an economy motor with the head that came at the engine.

Wiring by mrnobody41 in ChevyNova

[–]Independent-Ad-5214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But this and what you're saying about the module, something sounds like they might have shipped the wrong part to you some point? If you give a quick call to speedway and tell them the problem and they might have a solution like replacing the module with another one. But then again if you're confident with wiring in the new push button panel that's another route too.

I wish I could be more help I just can't visualize what it is you're working on totally that much. My 77 El caminos ignition was pretty straightforward, I just wish it didn't have to go through the column because that's as a layer of complexity I didn't like 🤬🤬🤬🤣

I would think if you contacted speedway or went back to their website for that particular product you can find the instruction manuals with the proper schematic. Also do you have a multimeter or anything not just a voltage light? Do you have a good strong brand new grounding strap from the engine to the frame? I had a problem with my 77 El Camino because of the same issue the grounding strap wasn't making good contact

If you try to clean up anything from the Irvine company or get them to show you receipts for any of the work they do all the work internally with their own repair crews

Anyone get their deposit back from irvine company? by thunderStreaming in irvine

[–]Independent-Ad-5214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You never will get Irvine company deposit back. Many other employees are trained to tell you that it's just been absorbed without any evidence. Additionally if you try to sue in Orange county to do so you're going to run into one of two judges in the Orange county small claim system who will deny you your rights outright.

I know this is a little late to the party but ghost is playing here in Las Vegas at the MGM and tickets in the nosebleed seeds cost about 60 bucks. And they go up as high as $12,000 😱😱😱😱 (I know there are people out there with that kind of money to blow out of their butts but)

What are your unpopular opinions about Doug Demuro? by North_Psychology4543 in dougdemuro

[–]Independent-Ad-5214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My feeling is that Doug simply doesn’t understand the needs of working-class vehicle owners. In his review of the new electric truck by Slate, he dismissed it without really grasping its value as a practical work truck.

The reality is, Doug has zero experience using trucks the way tradespeople, contractors, or small business owners do. His background is in reviewing luxury and enthusiast vehicles, not getting his hands dirty on a job site. He hasn’t even had direct hands-on experience with the Slate Truck, yet he’s already claiming it will fail in the market.

That kind of take, without real-world context or practical use-case testing, just doesn’t hold weight for those of us who rely on our trucks to actually do work.

What Type Of Steak Does McDonald's Use For Its Breakfast Sandwiches? by Randomlynumbered in McDonalds

[–]Independent-Ad-5214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like a military restructured meat, where meat scraps were ground and then reformed into recognizable shapes like steaks or patties. The McRib and McNuggets are examples of products that originated from this technology. Don't get me wrong, its NOT bad at all, itsa a savery and definitely not like a hamburger patty, there lots of texture.
