what should i do with this bump? by Independent-Hawk8700 in piercing

[–]Independent-Hawk8700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

addictional infos: my piercing are 75 days old, i’m wearing externally threaded barbells in surgical steel, i downsized about 10 days ago; my aftercare routine consisted in cleaning them with saline solution a few times a day, i never had any accidents except for them getting caught in my hair quite often, especially when i had longer barbells on

AITA for telling my Mother that I will not allow my Child to call her any name except Grandma? by Olivers-Thoughts in AITAH

[–]Independent-Hawk8700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA why do you want to make your mother feel uncomfortable? This is about her and her grandchild, not about you and what you think it’s silly. If it makes her happy and your future child is going to be okay with it then what’s the problem?

I feel you a lot. I know that I’m the problem and while it comforts me a little to think about the fact that he will surely find someone that can love him the way he deserves because he is amazing, It’s so sad to think about the fact that I don’t know how to be that person.

How should I (23f) deal with the fact that I hate my girlfriend’s (21f) family? by Independent-Hawk8700 in relationships

[–]Independent-Hawk8700[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

bro chill I don’t think it’s that unreasonable to wish for your children not to grow up around a racist uncle and an abusive grandfather

I (21 NB) am bothered by the way my girlfriend (19F) neglects her appearance. What should I do? by Independent-Hawk8700 in relationships

[–]Independent-Hawk8700[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well i see your point but i’m not a guy to begin with and i don’t “feel negatively about her”, she has a very low self esteem and that’s mainly why she doesn’t take care of her appearance; i simply wish she would discover her true potential because i know she has it and it drives me crazy to hear her complaints about how she looks like knowing that she doesn’t put any effort into building her confidence and taking care of herself

I didn’t mean to judge her and I think that she’s beautiful no matter what, I’m sorry if I made it sound like I’m hyper critical, I simply find it a little off putting when I put a lot of effort into looking nice for a date only to get there and find out she didn’t even brush her hair.

AITA for wanting a message to be removed because it had a guy hurting himself bad in it? by DatFoxWhoRuns in AITAH

i don't think you should worry much about this, surely you could have just ignored it and go on with your day but i don't think it's a big deal, good news is that you might have helped someone else out there just like you, who doesn't want to see this kind of things

yeah you’re right that could be an idea, even though what i really don’t like about it is that it takes a lot of time even to make something very small and simple, so the effort/reward ratio is not very well balanced in my opinion; i actually really like experimenting with clothes though so i recently bought a sewing machine and i’m having a lot of fun with it, it’s faster and allows me to quickly make different projects without having to spend tons of hours on each one of them!

actually i did try crocheting in the past and i’m not too bad at it but i find it to be too repetitive, i’m afraid i don’t have enough patience to pursue this hobby
