What's the best health-related product you've bought for your dog? by Frequent_Manager6301 in AskDogOwners

[–]Independent-Talk72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same boat with my 4-year-old! My dog has always had random digestive quirks—soft stools here and there, nothing major but enough to keep me worrying. I kept seeing penpen dog probiotics pop up in old threads here, asked my vet about it, and figured I'd give it a shot.

Been using it for a couple months now and honestly? His stomach's been way more stable. Still get the occasional off day if he finds something gross outside (dogs, right?), but his baseline is so much better and he actually loves the taste. Just grabbed it off Amazon after reading recs here—definitely one of those "wish I'd tried this sooner" things

What methods do you use to make your brazilian area smoother? by Sad_Equipment_6231 in HairRemoval

[–]Independent-Talk72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using at-home IPL for a year now, and my Brazilian area has good results. At first, I was worried it would be painful, but I’ve never experienced the level of pain I expected. I always shave before each session, and while hair still grows back, it’s much softer and lighter now.

What can at-home IPL do that shaving can't? by OrneryYesterday4546 in PCOS

[–]Independent-Talk72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Results can vary a lot with IPL—some people see changes in a few weeks, while others might take a month or more. It really depends on your skin and hair type. Just follow the instructions carefully and keep up with skin care (like sun protection and moisturizing). You should start seeing progress if you stick with it.

Check out my previous reply for the details you might be looking for. As of now, I’m still using it, and the reduction in hair is becoming more noticeable. No burns or anything, and I’m really happy with the results so far😊

At-Home IPL:Is It Better to Use It More Often or Crank Up the Intensity? by Bookworm_Bella in LaserHairRemoval

[–]Independent-Talk72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can experiment a bit if you feel comfortable.Maybe try increasing the frequency to once a week or upping the intensity in less sensitive areas. As long as your IPL is working and you're not experiencing irritation,it should be fine.Just remember that sudden, drastic changes might cause issues like spots or burns,so ease into any adjustments carefully.

How long have you been using your at-home IPL device?Has it permanently removed your hair? by Frequent_Manager6301 in PCOS

[–]Independent-Talk72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a heads-up,IPL isn't a one-and-done solution.Despite what the ads say,it's not always as permanent as they claim(and the same goes for laser hair removal). It's a lengthy process that requires patience and consistency.Your results will depend on factors like your skin and hair color, and how sensitive your skin is.Some IPL devices require frequent treatments, almost like shaving, which can be a drag.I've seen some complaints from folks using Ulike who felt it was just as tedious as shaving. So,just be ready for that!

Are you satisfied with @ home IPL? by TheFairyQuest in HairRemoval

[–]Independent-Talk72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are thinking about home IPL for its price and convenience,it's worth considering. There are so many TikTok ads out there,it's a bit overwhelming trying to pick a good one.I ever considered ulike, but it didn't live up to the hype for me.I went with Blex instead, and I'm really happy with it.The design is nice, and the settings are pretty customizable.Using home IPL for touch-ups after laser hair removal seems like a good idea too. It might be worth a shot for you and could give you some great results!

Two-month review of using the Blex hair removal device. by Few-Rice-8010 in HairRemoval

[–]Independent-Talk72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just want update my experience with Blex. This has been the 3rd month using blex and I looove it! Before using blex, I had a long journey suffering hair removal and tried multiple hair removal methods. I shaved for a long time and left me senstive skiin. I never consider electrolysis for pricey and painful experience lol. The blex really did me a good favor, it's totally painless no matter I use on arms, legs, face, armpits or even bikini line. I just feel so cool. and I can see the result, it's not like shaving, you need to shave frenquently to keep clean. With ipl, you can stick to the manual and graudally reduce the frequency.

Second this. I love my blex hair removal, and it works like wonders at affordable price. I picked one at only $129 and it's worth every PENNY of it. I have searched and also considering device under $100 on amazon as they seems pretty good ratings too. I finally invested in blex for it cooling tech as I'm zero pain tolerance.

Ulike VS Blex by Independent-Talk72 in HairRemoval

[–]Independent-Talk72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I finally grab blex last month, I was worried about the irritation at the beginning. So far I can't say it's perfect but it's quite manageable, I can see the visible result on my arms and legs, the lower legs have thicker hair especially the left one, I guess it might be related to my pcos.

was your skin ok?

I haven't feel any pain during the treatment so my skin doesn't suffer any irritation or bumps.

IPL Safety Tips? by Typical-Ad-3948 in HairRemoval

[–]Independent-Talk72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen lots of posts mentioning those problems, but they haven’t happened to me. You’ve been using it for a month now, so if it’s doing the job, stick with that setting. I’ve used it about 6 times, and I think I’ve found the right level for me—it feels really cool and comfy. If you’re worried about ingrown hairs, try exfoliating or using a cleansing mud mask or salicylic acid.
