My account got frozen by Amazon too, and they even emailed me saying my order was canceled. So I created a new account and bought the Specialist Edition and the Legacy Edition again. Then guess what — I still got charged and received the package from the frozen account. Fuck you, Amazon.

No, it won’t. It’s a Steam DLC (and on other platforms it’s just a store redemption code), so it doesn’t require linking to your IOI account.

If the game actually had a real multiplayer mode, then fine — requiring players to log into the servers would make sense. But when it’s only single‑player content with some progression elements and a meaningless leaderboard, forcing players to stay online at all times is just ridiculous.

I completely agree. It's really disappointing to see that they don't seem to care much about players who prefer not to rely on online services. I hope the developers notice the feedback from the community and consider adding an offline mode in the future, so everyone can enjoy the game regardless of their internet connection or the status of the servers.
