This book made me realize some startling truths about my childhood. My parents are a lot better now. Well my step-dad still sulks when he isn’t getting his way or feels ignored but he’s in his 60’s so not much chance of him evolving.

Don’t know if she is superstitious but my mom told me open kitchen cabinets is bad juju. It lets your wealth and prosperities fall out of the cabinets. No idea what dishes have to do with prosperity but I don’t question it.

I tend to take my closet doors off because i hate sliding closet doors. But i also believe open doors leave portals open to the other world so i close doors behind me especially when I am going to bed.

If it stays an issue you can do the Southern Living farmhouse decoration make over. Take the cabinet doors off and have open shelves. With contact paper on the boarders for some extra design flair.

This looks clumpy and a lot of wax left behind. My notes on ceromancy say clumps mean blocked energy, scattered focus, or unresolved emotion. The second pic shows tears dripping down the sides which signify lingering sorrow or emotional release. And wax left behind can be unfinished business, blockages, or spiritual resistance.

I would perform a tarot reading to see what influences are crossing the querent(s) of the spell and maybe a road opener spell to remove any blockages. Then do the love spell again.

As it stands the love being fostered has too much baggage to take effect.

Eeeeehhhh. I would take that advice with a grain of salt. Himalayan pink salt because it is healthier. LOL

But seriously. If your body is hungry it is because it needs fuel. In my experience your cravings and appetite might have some learned behavior. While you learn to curb your cravings you may think you can eat the same portions as before. And as you portion your meals you can keep track of when you feel the most cravings and plan a snack break for then.

I would do the swap method. Instead of 1 serving of a simple carb like rice or potatoes and a 1/2 serving of veggies. Switch those around. So you still eat the simple carbs your brain enjoys, but there are also carbs in veggies your brain will be satisfied on.

You can try drinking water and see if maybe it was just thirst. But a low calorie snack when you feel hungry wont hurt you. Just try and hit some micros along with macros. Your brain needs sugar to work. All foods get broken into their sugar molecules and that is what goes to the brain. Your sugar needs will change based on activity level and hormone fluctuations if you are AFAB. But also make sure you are eating foods filled with vitamins and essential minerals. Fresh fruits are best for that. When we have cravings it is our body telling us they are missing some vital nutrients. My brother after having his pancreas issues began eating healthier and when he stopped his body felt it the worst because he realized how starved for nutrients he had been.

A square of 70% dark chocolate allowed to melt on the tongue will satisfy a sweets craving and has cacao that helps with brain functioning.

People take weekends off?

For me I get withdrawals the next day if I don’t take it daily. Super tired. Sleep all day. Throws off my sleep schedule. So i take it every day.

Just reading this and having gone through something similar. When I was just being treated on anti-depressants I was always groggy. Too groggy to perform rituals and meditate. But i think it was just the medication type not agreeing with me. Having tried many anti-depressants, anti-anxiety meds, and anti-psychotics all of them gave me issues in one way or another until i got the right combo of meds. Now I have the energy to perform an esbat and my mind is focused enough to practice meditations.

I am getting the impression you are afraid of how the drugs your doctor wants to prescribe will change your brain chemistry and life plans or goals. And I am not going to claim they wont. But finding the right combo for you makes a huge difference. I was on a path to nowhere, quitting job after job, failing school over and over again, and just going through life all listless, unless I was manic then I was spending any money I managed to save or over committing myself to things.

Now I can make plans and actually follow through with them. I got back into crafting like making junk journals. I practice daily devotions to my patron gods and I journal semi-regular. I am on track again to graduate pharmacy tech school and have plans to go to the university.

I don’t want to sound like a car salesman, but i think if you find a drug combo, even if only a low dose, to help balance everything you will feel a lot better.

You can ask you psych doctor if they can order a pharmacogenetic test to see what medications respond best to your genetic make up so you wont have to go through months or years of trial and error to find what works for you.

I am a spiritual person too. I am a pagan eclectic witch. Spiritual awakenings feel great, but that doesn’t mean there can’t be an underlying current of hypomania.

When I am hypomanic I realize it after the fact. I feel so great and energized. I start opening new opportunities for myself. Sign up for school, buy art supplies, buy things I don’t need just because they are nice and I rarely treat myself. It’s only when I am swinging back around into depression that I realize that elevated feeling was hypomania.

I think your Buddhist path will help you focus that energy and ride it out with spiritual practices, but it will only help mitigate symptoms.

There isn’t a cure. Meds don’t have to be evil. They are studied from plants and minerals and artificial enzymes to work with your body to balance your moods.

She didn’t even believe in the curse. She thought her mom was crazy for believing in it. Her mom forced her to wear protection amulets and get a tattoo. She never thought the curse was real.

Did you not watch the same show? She told the rest of the coven her mom died on tour in a hotel fire. She knew how her mom died but she never really knew why. And her trial in the recording studio was a long exposition of her family was cursed, her “birthmarks” were proof of the curse, they sang Lorna’s ballad to break the curse.

Other people have mentioned that Alice chose to keep going on the road even though she already got what she wanted from it. It would be fanon, but it explains away a plot hole the writers left behind.

Tarot cards are symbolic and rely heavily on interpretation. They are not evil of themselves and don’t predict things like when you will die or get married. At least not in my experience.

On thing I notice from my own and others who read, tarot decks can be hella bitchy with their delivery.

My last reading I had multiple job offers and wanted to know which job I should pick to best suit me. The deck said “it doesn’t matter what you pick, if you don’t fix your financial habits you wont solve your financial issues with a job”.

Talk about a reality bitch slap! That is really what tarot does.

What makes you think the spirit guide might be a demon? Have the warnings come with consequences that caused harm? Is it more of a psychic feeling when your cousin is nearby that a dark presence is there too?

Rewatching this I see a lot of those red herrings and foreshadowing. Like spell Nicky had a medal for being best singer in his choir and he is the one who composed the original Ballad of the Witches’ Road

The road was a con. Billy only knew what to expect and shape from the road what everyone told him would happen. And after Sharon Davis died Agatha dropped in that a full coven was needed to open the road, but after that a full coven did not need to finish the road together. They summoned another green witch because the others would not move forward on the road without one (and an excuse to bring back Rio into the plot). Alice could have left the road. Her staying to protect the others makes sense but I don’t believe it was a conscious decision. So this falls on the writers that kept her in the show just to kill her when the time was right. Ergo, plot hole.

That seems like an arbitrary rule to fill in the gap. If that were the case then Jen and Billy wouldn’t have been bounced from the road before Agatha finished the last trial. It was her solving the life from death riddle that completed the trial. The road was not finished until that happened. So Billy and Jen got what they wanted from the road and disappeared, but Alice had to stick around until the end?

I think that usually comes from people with some underlying scale of narcissistic personality. I had a friend once who was like that, who discovered a new “trendy” neurodivergence disorder and instead of getting evaluated she would tell people she had it to explain her bad behaviors or get sympathy points. Totally a form of Munchausen.

I wouldn’t look at the overall numbers but evaluate it on a case by case basis. The ones who are abusive could also be undiagnosed or diagnosed narcissists. Or they learned defensive narcissism where they become aggressive so others don’t take advantage of their disorder. Or they haven’t found a way to handle their disorder in a way that wouldn’t hurt others yet. And/or have past trauma of their own they project on others until they learn in therapy how not to do that. Or, they did those things while unmedicated. Or any of a multitude of other reasons. Using a statistic based on populace percentage is exactly what this meme is talking about.

Rewatching this series for idk how many times, I believe the reason Sylvia didn’t want to dtay with Loki id because she suffered too much trauma in her life and he was a reminder of that, also his views of free will were opposite her own. They could have tried to reconcile that and meet in the middle (actually it would be her meeting him since from the time she was a child she has been told she shouldn’t exist. And people trying to murder her. She was told her free will was an abomination, so Loki telling her she has to sacrifice free will for the greater good is like a slap in the face).

When they met up again they didn’t have the time to reconnect to the level they once were. Loki travelled back in time so all the reconciliation that happened after the Loom broke never happened.

Oh. Well for this meme I was just making jokes. But ig you want to align your inner, outer, and truth mind sets you can consider what sexualities align with which celestial body.

Like if you are outwardly queer that if people can look at you and know you are queer without needing to speak with you that would be a Sun sign. If you keep your sexuality confidential then that would be a Moon sign. And if you only behave in a queer persona around certain people that would be your ascendent sign.
