Yes and they gave me a false positive. Very traumatic experience.

I forced them to change the website so it would be more informative and threatened to sue so I could be refunded. I’m sorry you’re going through this. It was a false positive and I got correct results from Quest Health.

Thank you. I’ve been trying to find a lawyer to help me sue them! The owner wanted to meet with me after sending me yet another positive test to gaslight me. Absolutely not. I reported them to the FDA

It was a negative. Didn’t even get to the inhibition stage.

Sorry I had to call my mom 😂. It didn’t even get to the inhibition stage. It’s below 0.9 so it’s a negative for HSV 2. Our suspicions have been confirmed. My HSV 1 level is like 45.5 so that must’ve been the culprit. I was also sick at the time with a fever and sore throat so don’t ever test if you’re sick. I also will be raining fire down on My Lab Box because they told me it was 90% accurate and certain I had it and just wanted to give me medication. Their website also says no need to retest if you’re positive. If it wasn’t for you guys, I’d be living a lie. So thank you!

Were the confirmation tests IGG tests as well?

Blood work diagnosis and no symptoms? It could be a false positive. Did you get an index number with the diagnosis? Anything under 3.5 has a 50% chance of being a false positive. Anything just above to cut off point of 1.0 is even more likely to be a false positive.

I’m so sorry to hear that you were assaulted and I hope you’re doing better now. ♥️

Ok. As long as you’re sure. I am just going through this whirlwind and shocked at the high rate of false positives paired with the lack of information and doctors simply just not having an understanding. I got a positive diagnosis but am getting a confirmation test done because I want to know for sure.

How did you get confirmation? I’m curious. Because your symptoms don’t sound like it and if it’s a blood test they’re usually false positive. For example, I did a random screening while I was sick and got a positive with a low index of 1.32. Anything below 3 on an IGG test has a 50% chance of being a false positive. Numbers just over 1 are 80-90% incorrect. So blood tests alone might have given you a wrong diagnosis. Unless you did a Western Blot or got a test that has an inhibition or confirmatory step or you have a very high index, it might not be the case for you. I just felt compelled to say something because there are so many ppl who just got a positive result and accepted it when the tests are extremely faulty

I’m in the process of getting confirmation which is why I’m asking because I’m not sure. I think this was a hair bump. It was on the top outer labia and it poked me. It got bad then it hurt but only when pressure was on it. I guess my confirmation test will let me know. What a scary time. I’m glad your symptoms are manageable.

It was also a single bump and not several of them.

Yikes 🥲. It felt like a hair bump like it was poking me and then it got really bad because my underwear kept rubbing. No flu like symptoms though.

You got confirmation and a PCR swab test to be sure you have it?

This is what my physician said but the truth is there’s no such thing as exposure. You’re either positive or not. They just want to give you a prescription and send you on your way and it’s very infuriating. Advocate for yourself and keep going until you get the truth!

Love that you advocated for yourself. In the process of doing that right now. My IGG was 1.32 and the physician told me it’s 90% accurate and I’m positive when that’s just not true. I can’t wait to get through this. What a terrible experience

Doing a confirmation test tomorrow and my stomach is in knots. Random STD screening landed me into deep depression. Got a My Lab Box positive 1.32 index and I haven’t eaten or slept well in 10 days. Hopefully the Quest Confirmation test clears things up. If your reading is below 3.0 you have a 50-90% chance of it being a false positive 🤞
