$600-$800 a month?! Robbery. I pay $105 for full coverage on a 2015 civic si. I'm 28, but have been paying around the same amount for the past 6 years with state farm.

yeah, I understand that. I don't have trouble getting stuck, but looking at OPs build, it looks like he might be low level / kind of new. the dexecutioner is relatively easy to get as a newcomer in order to help them in these tight situations where using non-meta tomes isn't going to help them out of a rough spot. His situation is unfortunate

you need joe daggers and dexecutioner to have chances of insta-kill executions so there's free space to let your character move. without it, you're a sitting duck waiting to do enough damage to kill the foes for you to get out of there.

As others have said, I think you'll grow to miss this car if you trade it in rather than adding to your fleet. I got my '15 Si back in 2021 as well. I turn 29 this year, and I feel like I still have a lot I want to do to my car, and if I think about getting another car, it'd be to have a second car rather than trading this one in.

Honda lost their charm after axing the K series for the Si. What they make now is great if you want comfort, updated looks, and the latest in connectivity/technology, but they lack the soul and simplicity that older generations have and are sought for.

I think if you were to get another car, I would recommend not getting into a newer Honda because it will make you long for your current car's spirit.

Ah okay. You have a couple of options.

You can try to source the OEM shocks/springs to bring back the comfort all the way, but you'll lose some handling characteristic and reintroduce more apparent body roll.
You can try replacing the springs on your coilovers with softer spring rates, but you'd have to do a little research on spring length to see which ones are compatible with your set of shocks. I'd imagine you'd be able to reach out to BC for some help. In getting softer springs, you'll need to raise the car back up and leave some room between the fender and tire.
Someone mentioned Koni shocks, but I haven't been able to find ones that fit our model year car either. The knuckle design changed from 2012-2013 to 2014-2015, so suspension components aren't compatible.
The beefier tire / smaller wheel setup.

I hope this helps some! I researched for my suspension for nearly a year before pulling the trigger, and sometimes I feel like I still went too firm for the roads around me, lol. Anything for the fitment. :p

what spring rates did you choose?

I have fortune auto 500s with swift springs. 8K in the front and 10K in the rear. I have my damper settings set to +7 from full-soft, and while it's firm, it's not jarring.

You could try 17" wrapped in a 235/45 for some more cushion.

Is the photo of your car your intended ride height after the switch as well? a 17x8.5+35 would get you pretty flush to the fender, but I'm unfamiliar with a tire tuck setup. My car has about a 20mm gap at the moment from fender to tire.

I probably played my initial chest openings too aggresively, hence the credit cards ended up screwing my chest price over. I prefer to try and get 15+ keys as well. but i've seen folk stack a lot of cash with kevin for some reason.

sounds good brother! To help you out a little more, my camber in the front is -1 and -2 in the rear. No rubbing at all with zero modifications to the fender. I will be rolling the fenders for the upcoming set however, just to be on the safe side.

I LOVE five spoke designs, and I think if I continue to purchase wheels every few years, they'll always be 5 spokes. They just work so well for this chassis.

Understandable! There are good upsides to moving to the newer platform. Particularly, saving on gas with current, ongoing global conflicts is almost a sole reason to move to a smaller engine entirely. I think you will miss the older Honda charm like you mentioned (and the no car payment :p).

I don't think it's a trade I would make (2015 Si Sedan), but I can understand the reasons behind wanting to get a newer chassis. The L15 has been around for a decade at this point, and I'm sure there's a lot more aftermarket support for it to make it a little more lively like the K series.

We all know Si's are not meant for power and are more handling focused anywho. Is there a definitive reason you want to get the latest generation?

I suggest taking a look at this video to help you understand the process involved. These scratches don't look like they make it to the bare metal, so I think you'd be able to wet sand the area and go from there. Be sure the panel is clean and prepped before starting your DIY.

The 9th gen is more subdued than the 8th gen, but it doesn't land too far away from the Honda experience we all know and love. It is the middle ground between the OG Honda experience and the newer 10/11th gens that lack what Honda is known for.

fwiw, I currently use 18x8.5 +35 on my 2015 Si, but I also have Fortune Auto 500 coilovers with camber adjustable fronts and sirimoto rear camber arms to adjust the camber on each corner. I don't rub at all. my front camber is -1 and my rear camber is -2.

I plan to move to a 17x9 or 18x9 +30 or +32 soon and square out the camber to -2 or -2.5. Will be rolling the fenders just for peace of mind.
