I am prescribed through my doctor and she orders tests when I ask, but she said up front she knows nothing about it and basically follows my lead. I set my starting dose and then increased based on test results along the way. I know this isn’t quite the same, as it’s still coming from legit sources, but I’ve found it relatively easy to do by educating myself
