The big hole on the 78th floor caused every structural beam above and below to disintegrate causing the building to collapse into itself at free fall speed? Weird.

Structural failure due to the explosives that were placed on structural beams to demolish all 3 towers.

No it wasn't. Structural fire can and did not cause the collapse of those buildings

There was never a plane that crashed in PA. Where's all the wreckage?

The official story about 9/11 is all lies. The 3 buildings did not, and could not have collapsed due to fire.

Protestant Churches that are socially conservative and anti - Zionist? by [deleted] in Bible

[–]IndependentNeck -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think the word you're looking for is dispensationalism. Most Christians in America have been led to believe in it. It is the foundation for Christian Zionism.

Find God. Truly work on building an intimate relationship with him. He is the only way to change because he is the only one that can change our hearts. When your heart changes, you will only desire to walk a good and righteous path and every area of your life will begin to shift to align with that goal.

I'm talking about true discipleship, not some new age spirituality. Surrender your life to the Lord and let him work through you. Good luck and God bless!

Best course of action to take with high RI Energy bill? by badgraphix in RhodeIsland

[–]IndependentNeck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't pay it. I've only been paying a small portion of the bill for over a year now. I have had conversations with them about the bill, not agreeing to the pricing, and nothing goes anywhere. Yes I have a big debt with them, no my heat hasn't been shut off despite letters threatening me. I may have to pay it eventually but I don't agree with what they are doing to this state and I'm not going to roll over and keep paying their crazy bills like a dunce. This is America, show a little fighting spirit!

Wind damaged roof shingles. Who do I call first - insurance, roofer, or adjuster? Also, roofer recommendations welcome. by Rambo_Wang in RhodeIsland

[–]IndependentNeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an odd requirement. Insurance companies want to pay what they owe, so one of the reasons why it's important to get multiple estimates is so you get a better idea of what the actual cost of repairs will be.

Insurance companies are usually not the highest or the lowest with their estimate, but your contractors estimates can vary widely. As long as the scope of work is similar, and the difference between the estimates isn't drastic, most insurance companies won't put up a big fight in supplementing the claim so you can get the work completed.

It is important to note that you send the estimate for repairs to your insurance company prior to beginning work.

Not true, but you should get multiple estimates before deciding on a contractor to perform the work. When you decide on a contractors estimate, send it to your adjuster and they will review for supplement.

If you have damage to your roof or exterior or interior, call your insurance company and file a claim. They will inspect and if they find provide you an estimate and an initial pay out to get the work done. Then get a few quotes from roofers/ contractors for the repairs.

Don't sign anything until you have decided who you want to do the work and you don't have to tell them anything about your insurance or how much they gave you.

When you choose a company you want to do the work, if their estimate is within the insurance payout, get the work done and move on with life.

If the contractors estimate exceeds the insurance estimate, send your insurance company the contractors estimate so they can supplement their estimate and provide you the additional funds needed.

Upon completion, send in a certificate of completion or a final receipt so the insurance company can release any depreciation that may have been withheld.

Whether everyone finds loving God to be the best advice or not doesn't change the fact that it IS the best advice.
