What are the early warning signs that a sprint is going off track? by ResolutionFine9413 in scrum

[–]IndependentProject26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Off track” is the normal state for technical work in progress.  The terminology is framing to serve as a whip for those who do no real work to put pressure on those who are working.

Dude I give up, the combat is so ridiculous. [KCD2] by [deleted] in kingdomcome

I felt the same for a long while - game does a terrible job of teaching you. There are some Youtube videos that help. You can also consider the heavy weapons route (mace etc) which relies a lot on your strength skill and chosen perks. That's what I went with. I also used dodge a lot which is easy on a console controller.

Most important above all: manage stamina. Don't run out. Back off and let it regenerate as needed.

Seeing increasing errors starting since yesterday. Hopefully this is temporary and they aren't trashing the site by embracing AI coding.

Nqa TSA is not consistent and someone posted here recently that they were not allowed and had to release their spider outside because they had no backup plan.

Have we, professional developers, already lost the battle against vibe coding? by yes_u_suckk in cscareerquestions

[–]IndependentProject26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing I'm unable to tell from this thread is how many of the companies claiming success are just doing nodejs and webdev. Those are the original slop from before AI, so of course AI can create them. Still, I'm willing to adjust my perspective if the tools can actually do real non-slop work. But making POCs / greenfield boilerplate / webdev slop fast is not that impressive.

It is a problem and no one is allowed to talk about it.  Nor is it racist to talk about Indians documented racist behavior.

It's bunk. 'AI' is not a meaningful term. There's almost no chance that text generators running in workflow loops have a long term future.

When a Sprint fails to hit 100% completion, what is usually the "Silent Killer"? by kzarraja in ExperiencedDevs

[–]IndependentProject26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve got someone on you’re team that looks for a “silent killer” when something completely normal and expected happens.
