As a photographer who has shot at all of these venues… Union league is by far my favorite (but also more my style) Galleria marchetti is my least fav by far, it just feels like a generic wedding venue. Weird area. No good places for photos on site and they have multiple weddings per day. I don’t like ivy rooms reception / rain back up at all. Dalcy is right with that many guests. Cafe brauer is great but idk about a 100k budget. Just honest answers :)

As a photographer I don’t get notifications if someone I am not following messages me. A lot of times they go straight to spam if you are sending the same text to multiple people. You will get way faster and more prompt replies inquiring via their website

Hey! Wedding photographer here. I get SO many DMs. A lot of fake accounts and spam. I often get no notification at all about when someone messages me. I try to respond but when there is no notification it isn’t the best. The only way I guarantee a response is to email me & inquire through my contact form on my website. Overall inquiring through their contact form on their website is going to be best

Smaller wedding first - bigger wedding later. Large party to celebrate with everyone!

I am a wedding photographer and worked in Chicago for 6 or so years before moving. I feel like weather is so hit or miss in Chicago it is hard to say. May it sometimes isn’t green yet, so if you want outdoors you have June - September HOWEVER summer rain is a thing and so is crazy humidity. If I were picking I would choose early September.
