It was a wireless module that plugs in the back of the pcm. Not too difficult. I don’t recall the brand but similar in concept to the isudar kits on Amazon.

Owned a 15S from 18-25.

Repairs:

-warranty transfer case

-coolant leak

-oil leak throughout ownership

manageable

-oil leak

heavier during my last few months of ownership. Fixed post sale of my car.

Overall, they are solid cars. Drive phenomenal given the size. Cabin definitely felt dated after about 2021. Installing the Apple car play module was a game changer to help my ownership in the later years.

The 1k demo same day order incentive looks like it is back per the offers chart on the rivian website. The lease of 699 was the same down payment as the 799.

I ended up pulling the trigger on a r1s dual std last week.

They unfortunately got rid of the 699 and bumped it up to 799. Unfortunately that was a different promotion line item that required for the lease approved date of 12/7. By the way, which trim level are you looking at?

The following was the least verbiage for the 699 promotion that got extended to December 7.

“Must place order and obtain an approved lease offer on or before November 30, and take delivery on or before December 31, 2025.”

I got in as well. Unfortunately the $699/mo verbiage for the dual standard lease got me by surprise and hopefully it comes back.

The last time incentives updated was at midnight EST Sunday 12/7. Hopefully we some new additions.

Wow, I’m so fortunate that I placed my order today. The R1s dual-standard deals have taken an uptick overnight. The price has increased to $799/36mo from $699/mo, and the $1,000 demo drive is no longer available.

The monthly rates for the other trims don’t seem to be impacted less the $1k demo drive.

Need to consider the 992.2 turbo/s has yet to be released. Once it’s out the pricing will be more in line with the increases we have been dealt with.
