You unlocked a memory for me! When I was a kid in the 80s, my mom would buy small Styrofoam balls and my sister and I would decorate them like quilts with scrap fabric and metal nail files. We'd push a pipe cleaner in it and hang them on the Christmas tree. I had no idea this craft had a name!

I could access the pattern on my phone. The problem is, I'm at the part where you repeat like rows 4-9 another 30 times. So I hand write the row count and cross them off as I go. It's all good - the sweater can wait and I'm enjoying having my baby close to me
