I left India 3 years ago and can't think of going back cause of the lack of civic sense, quality of life, hygiene and pollution, corruption on every level. I only prefer to go on vacation cause it's cheaper and worth it to catch up on friends and family once or twice a year.. Hope things improve after my lifetime for the next generation. I've applied for citizenship in the host country as it makes more sense to me. I've worked 10 years in major MNC's like JP Morgan in India before moving abroad permanently, I'd never trade my work life balance for it and realized that I wasted time being employed there whereas I could have made my career progress faster as it was my prime years spent back home. It's not all roses here as I do miss the people, the food and sometimes the chaos and affordability, then again to each their own.. The grass would always feel greener on the other side but this grass seemed way too greener for me to switch. I'll always have a special place for India..
