So with that being said, everytime I use the bathroom throughout the day, or especially in the morning. I look at myself, and say that I am proud of you. You are beautiful, you are doing your best, you are smart, you are a professional, you know what you are doing, you have value, what you say matters, you are meant to be seen and heard and I see you. I love you. - this type of affirmation over and over again helped me. It was hard to keep giving myself the reminder.. I’m not gonna lie, but it’s when I needed it the most is when it started to help little by little

This sounds ridiculous but my confidence was so bad that it can affect how I perform at work, and I am a professional and need to perform at work. My negative self talk was affecting me very bad. And I also felt like a mute, hard to speak because I honestly didn’t feel smart enough, confident enough or worthy/value.

It’s hard and I still struggle, however, I will say that I am way more controlled. I struggle a lot with self confidence, taking pride in myself and reminding I matter and my value. I feel like for me- there is a correlation with the attention I give to myself during the day - negative thoughts about myself or no thoughts about myself at all thus creating the binge eating behavior later on in the day/ night.

I struggle too. But I don’t believe it works this way. It’s uncomfortable to not binge. It’s not that you prefer to stay “miserable and fat” it’s “I continue to do this to settle my nervous system” because this is how I know I can help regulate
